The Slaidi is a fast distance driver made by the Finnish disc manufacturer Prodiscus. Prodiscus compares the flight of this disc to the Innova Destroyer. It is an excellent disc for long forehand drives. The Prodiscus Slaidi is available in both of the Prodiscus plastic blends. Their Premium plastic is clear and durable. It is comparable to the Innova Champion plastic, but with a gummy feel. Basic plastic is soft and flexible, like a cross between Innova Pro and Star plastics.

I got the Slaidi in Basic plastic at 174 grams.

I'm a RHBH player. I took this disc out for first impressions in windy, wet 11° centigrade weather and played it over 14 holes.

The plastic has a great feel and posed no difficulties even when wet.

For me the disc is stable with a nice fade, but nothing extreme. Into the wind it flew pretty darn straight with a nice fade, although it did tend to get a lot of air bounce. With a tail wind it lost the air bounce and was only slightly more stable. Very use-able in both situations.

For my less powerful arm, I found it best to throw this disc with a little anhyzer and let it flex out. Gets me about the same distance as I would expect from my Wraiths.

I wouldn't say this disc does any one thing better than other discs, however it reliably does whatever I ask of it. The reliability is the reason this one is going to stay in my bag.

I have the impression that a powerful arm could probably crank it up with this disc and have no worries about turning it over.

This disc was not for me. I threw my buddies today and this thing came our of my hand and just meathooked straight into the ground. Even when throwing this thing forehand it would meathook as if thrown backhand and just lay there. The best flight path i can give to this thing from my experiance is a wounded duck. The plastic is the only highlight of this disc in my personnel opinion. If you're looking for a huge meathook to put in the bag then this disc is for you. Also would not recommend for begginers.
