The Prodigy PA-1 is an overstable putt and approach disc that is very consistent in the wind. This is the most overstable of the Prodigy putters currently available, and makes an excellent driving putter.

I've been putting and throwing with the PA-1 (350G)  for about a year and a half now. I've gotten the same exact flight with any of the Prodigy plastics though.   I use 350G when it's hot/warm, and 300 when it's cold. I've tried them all and I think 350G is the best base plastic ever made. Perfect grip, extremely durable, and holds flight characteristics for years. 300 is the perfect cold weather compliment. It's easily my most important and favorite disc in my bag.

This disc would fall in the most underrated putter ever category. It's essentially a beadless wizard. I mean, if you shaved the bead off a wizard the PA-1 would have almost identical measurements and hand feel. The flight of the two is almost identical also,. Athough I don't have extensive experience with wizards I did throw them for a couple of months, found out I don't like beaded putters, which led me to the PA-1.  The other obvious disc to compare it to would be it's brother, the Prodigy PA-3.     The PA-3 is also a beaded putter and it's slightly less over stable than a PA-1.  I don't know a single person that owns a PA-3 that doesn't love it and they would never give it up. About 90% of the Prodigy pro's throw that disc, it's great.

But I think the PA-1 is even better than the PA-3, especially if you like beadless. It's my 200' and in do-everything putter. Putting, upshots, baby flex throws , anny putts,  wind fighter, straight shots, low power, full power, consistent smooth hyzers, low ceiling, woods, scoobers, and even tomahawks. I don't forehand with it although it's medium depth I'm sure you could. It doesn't get much ground play on throws and doesn't glide past the basket if you miss a putt. I started with Pures and the PA-1 instantly shaved at least 3 strokes a round off my score because if I missed with a PA-1 was left with a 15-20 footer instead of a 30 footer.  I don't bag a Berg, Pig, or any other approach/upshot putter, the PA-1 does it all. Only other 200' and in approach disc I use is a Toro for forehand or when I need a little more over stability on a backhand, or more ground play. But I use the PA-1   90% of the time.

My 174g 350G PA-1 has been a great putting putter. The plastic is firm, almost like KC but slightly tacky, leading to a confident and comfortable grip. Inside the circle, it is mostly unaffected by wind, falling and fading predictably. It putts and approaches like an Envy with less glide and less susceptibility to wind or turning. For approaches, however, I prefer the AviarX3 that flies similarly but with noticeably less glide.

When I need a headwind putt of something that will hyzer out at the end I reach for my pa1. It is great for my spin putt because it's not too overstable it will just hook out of the hand but stable enough to not flip with a headwind putt.

I found the PA1 to be Prodigy's most stable putter, but still not overstable. It reminds me of a KC Aviar in flight, it has some good straight stability, but some dumpy fade at the end. I didn't like it so much in the circle, but I did enjoy throwing it off the tee and on upshots. This is a great throwing putter.

Stable putter that is solid in the wind. 350G plastic is stiff and grippy. For putts that are inside of 30ft you can putt straight at the basket. Any thing outside of 30ft you have to start playing the hyzer.

This is my go to putter for driving. It has the perfect amount of glide with a predictable fade at the end. Every new PA1 I get throws exactly the same. It handles wind like a champ and feels great in your hand.

It is difficult to not give a perfect review to the disc that earned me a world championship, at least on the putting green. I showed up to the Airborne store in Minnesota for the Amateur World Championships. I met Cale Leiviska, and I talked him into selling me a putter that he was considering keeping for himself. It was a 350 Pa-1. He let me buy it, and I bought a light blue one as well that went directly into my bag. I decided I was going to use the blue one as my putter for the week of Worlds. I usually don't switch putters close to a big tournament, but it felt so good in my hand I had to do it. I started sinking putts with it, and found myself on lead card after 3 rounds when they shuffled up the pools. What happened next was regarded to as a "putting clinic" by Terry Miller the Discgolfguy next. I made 5 massive outside the circle putts that helped me go from 3 behind the lead to 2 strokes ahead in the Am world championships! Long story short I took down the tournament and my Pa-1 Never let me down other than a few spit outs.

Try out a 350 Pa-1 and Putt like the Am world champion!

Although I use P2's now and like them better ;)
