The Prodigy PA-1 is an overstable putt and approach disc that is very consistent in the wind. This is the most overstable of the Prodigy putters currently available, and makes an excellent driving putter.

I just started putting with this after trying pretty much every other mold of putter. This one fits the best for my hand, and putting style. Might get a 350 PA-1 and see if I like it, but 300 seems perfect so far.

    A friend gave me one.

    He said it's kind of between a P2 & a Luna.

    I like it.

I changed to it as primary.

    Good Grip.

The Pa-1 has a great level of overstability for the female arm!

This is the only disc I've thrown that caused me physical pain. There is a beveled edge on the inside of the bottom of the rim. I understand the idea behind this beveled edge, your finger will slide off of a sloped surface more easily than a flat surface. The problem with this beveled edge is that is causes the bottom of the disc to be extremely sharp. When I threw this with my standard fan grip the sharp edge was digging into my index finger and after 3 throws I could tell if I threw it a 4th time it was going to break the skin. My disc was in 300 plastic, not sure if the edge is as sharp in other plastics. Because of this issue I would not recommend this disc to anyone and if someone expressed interest in this disc I would highly recommend they feel one before buying.

This was the first putter I had ever used when I started playing disc golf, and I think it is a great first putter to have. The friend that introduced me to the game and got me so hooked on it gave me this putter to start out with, and I could not have been happier with it. The disc I have is in 300 plastic at 172 grams. I still use this putter now when I play. It is very beat up, but the flight still remains close to the same as it was when I first got it used. It started out as overstable for me on a throw, and later evolved to how it is now as a hyzer flip disc that glides a little bit further than it used to but maintains its overstable fade and finish when it comes close to the end of its flight. The fact that I can throw his further now as a beat in putter than I did when it was closer to brand new speaks to how good this disc can be. I believe this is a very good putter for a beginner and a very good approach disc and putter for a more experienced arm.

This is a great putter overall. The 300 plastic beats into an awesome putting putter. The 350g and 400 plastics are unbelievable throwing putters. Love this disc

If you want a straight putter with a left finish at the end this is it! I use this multiple times a round and love it.  One of my favorite putters!

PA1 in 300 plastic is my preferred throwing putter if I have to mash one.  I never fear my PA1 will burn out--it always finishes. Thrown on a controlled, straight line the PA1 goes for a long while before fading.  Where the PA3 is the straightest putter Prodigy offers, the PA1 is the easiest to throw with power. Seasoned it will still take the power, but will fly very straight.  An easy throw will give you the same straight-to-fade flight.

As with all 300 series discs, trees and nicks and slams will quickly have an affect on the flight. But, the grip of the 300 series is the best characteristic and applied to the PA1 you have a very, very reliable driving putter.

I fell in love with prodigy putters after winning some in a tournament especially the PA1. I'm still experimenting with other putters but find myself going to these when I really need to make a putt. the PA1 is good off the tee good on the fairway and good for putting. it's pretty straight can handle some power and finishes predictably

Absolutely LOVE my PA-1 in the 300s plastic. True flight with held lines every single throw. I have a 174g that absolutely is my go to in need of a pressure putt. I genuinely love the feel, playability, and versatility of different shots this putter can achieve when thrown. I will be only purchasing the prodigy putter series from this day on.

My first prodigy disc, ever. I ordered a PA-1, 300s. Loved it so much I bought another one after a month. I still have this disc in my bag, it's the oldest disc I keep around. Straight as an arrow (now), looks beat, is beat, flies truer than nearly anyone's driving putters I have seen. Approach disc level-- EXPERT! I use it for tunnel shots, or short wooded holes that require more finesse than power. I have  aced a couple with it as well, it's my one disc that won't ever be left behind! I'll spend the rest of my day looking for it if need be!

So I showed up to Emporia, KS a 19 year old, 928 rated golfer for Junior Worlds in summer 2013. I was putting with Vibram Sole's at the time. I quickly learned in my first practice round that those were not going to fly in the wind. That was the very same week that the 300s version of the Pa-1 came out. I had already played around with a 400s Pa-1 and was excited to feel the soft plastic. I fell in love and bought 2 and switched putters the day before my first world championships. I shot solid golf that week, and made some pretty good putts considering I was using this putter for the first time ever. I used the Pa-1 for over a year, and when the 350g Pa1's came out, I used the 300s for tee shots. They are very straight and dependable for 230+ foot shots when they have been broken in. I loved it as my upshot putter and teeshot putter whenever I just needed to throw straight, but needed a bit more power or fade that a Pa-4 could handle or offer.

The Pa-1 is a fast flying, stable putter inside the circle. Anyone who enjoys a stable putter will enjoy the Pa-1. To me it reminds me of Westside's Shield, but isn't as bulky in my hand. The Pa-1 is dependable and has enough glide to stay up for longer putts. It isn't as glidey as most putters, but many of Prodigy's top pros are still smashing putts with the Pa-1.

I have been playing for almost 20 years and have seen/tried nearly every putter.  I have gone through the spectrum from old Aviars, to slightly newer Aviars, super softs, magnets, and multiple other before settling on APX Swirl.  I love the feel of those and how they come out of my hand and have used them for years.

This disc finally made me switch putters.  The two main things that make this an outstanding putter are consistency and grip.

The PA-1 is amazing overstable and consistent.  The angle is so consistent you never have to worry about throwing it too hard at the chains and having it flip over.  I love that about it.  But for me, the best part of these is the 300 plastic.  If you have never tried it, you are missing out.  The grip is better than any disc I have used, and that would be a lot.  If you put a touch of moisture on your fingers, it actually improves the grip.  What a beautiful thing this is on those warm, sweaty days.

The PA-1 is also a wonderful driving disc.  People say to buy the 400 plastic for your driving putter so it doesn't get beat up.  I would argue that point.  My main putter is a beat up PA-1 300 171 gram, which is borderline warped looking.  Yet when I throw it on drives in the 200-250 range, it flies dead straight with a predictable fade to the left no matter how hard I throw it.  Although the 400 grip is nice when compared to the other premium blends, nothing in my opinion beats these in the 300.

I will concede that they do not "catch" the chains as well as some of the softer plastics, even my APX Swirls.  But boy that grip more than makes up for any chained putts.  If you are looking for a change with a putter, pick this bad boy up in 300 ASAP.  If you are more of a flat line putter, or want a putter for those longer 40-60 footers, drop down to a PA-3 or even a PA-4.  But inside 30, these PA-1s are just money.

I originally picked up this disc for a slightly overstable driving putter.

When throwing this putter, I was not seeing the fade I really wanted out of this disc. Also the rim is a bit deeper than I really care for.

What is nice about this disc is,(Brand new) when thrown hard and flat, it holds that line all the way to your target with minimal fade at the end of its flight. The 300s plastic beats in very fast. Mine is already a little bent and disfigured. Now when thrown flat, it has a very slight turn to the right and does not fade back.

If you plan to use this putter for drives, I would suggest getting a more durable plastic. If you're a spin putter, the 300s plastic grabs the chains like nothing else.

I have personally found the Axiom Envy to be a better putter for my drives.
