As the second distance driver in the Prodigy line, the D2 is very similar to the D1. This driver has the same diameter, height, rim depth, and wing length. With a 2.3 cm wing, this is a very fast driver. The Prodigy D2 is overstable, but not quite as overstable as the D1. It has a higher degree of high-speed turn, and slightly less low-speed fade. This driver is used by players with a variety of skill levels.

500 Plastic was development over a considerable period of time to formulate a blend based upon player feedback. It has a stiffer, less gummy feel than 400 Plastic. The 500 blend provides an extremely confident grip on the firm, yet flexible flight plate. It also provides a very solid feeling rim.

Was given this disc as a beginner and it confused me big time. It was a meat hook and I couldn't get any distance out of it, but I loved the feel of it and ended up using it for when I just wanted huge fade utility and scrambling out of stuff. I never used it for what it was designed for. I plan to return to it as i get some technique and arm speed. Not noob friendly though.

I love the D2! One of my favorite overstable distance drivers! A lot of glide mixed in with a good amount of stability makes for a very good, reliable wind fighter or just an all around workhorse!

My D2 is one of the most used distance drivers in my bag. I really lean on it when it comes to shots I don't want turning over. It is a great overstable flyer meaning that it is overstable but has enough glide to not just fall out of the sky. When I fully connect on this disc I can get it out to 325. Over all I would recommend this disc to any tournament player wanting a glidy overstable go to disc in their bag.

The glide on this disc is legit. Although you will never get the same distance throwing a stock hyzer as you will on a full S turn, this disc seems to get me the closest to the distance I get when executing a full S turn on a more understable disc. This disc has made my Destroyers obsolete at this point. I can get about 5% more distance on average than I can with my Destroyers. This disc is now my preferred disc when I need max distance on a flat to hyzer line and I need my disc to finish to the left. So for holes where water is on the right side, or a basket is hiding behind a tree and I need to go straight past the tree and then have it fade around the tree to the left. This disc has become my most commonly used driver because it will perform in the wind and give you consistently good straight safe distance.
