As the second distance driver in the Prodigy line, the D2 is very similar to the D1. This driver has the same diameter, height, rim depth, and wing length. With a 2.3 cm wing, this is a very fast driver. The Prodigy D2 is overstable, but not quite as overstable as the D1. It has a higher degree of high-speed turn, and slightly less low-speed fade. This driver is used by players with a variety of skill levels.

Prodigy's big bomber, does not disappoint! It has that hefty warp speed rim, with a slight dome that has a nice combination of speed and glide. Definitely not for the noodlier arms, you do need significant arm speed to make it fly as intended.

What I have is a 174 8/10, and its not at all flippy. I can get it to turn 70% of the time, otherwise it just stays straight for most of its flight then fades. I wouldn't say I have a noodle arm, nor a particularly big arm. The D2 is definitely one of those discs that is just beyond the cusp of my speed threshold at the mid 170 weight.

That said, the fade isn't really a biting one- its a fairly gentle fade. Might have more to do with the condition of the disc though. Its definitely got less fade than say a Boss or a Crank in that department.

This disc is great for bigger arms. It flies well while staying overstable, adding a big skip on grass. I'm excited to use this disc for windy days, but do not recommend it for anyone playing off the short tees.
