A slow, beefy approach disc that you can rip on with confidence that it won't overshoot or turn over. I prefer it's beadless brother, the A2 :)

Here is the A1, doing A1 things in under a minute!

This disc would not be good for a beginner but its amazing for tough shots that require alot of hyzer or a crazy S turn. This disc will hyzer dump into the great even in tons of head wind. Its not a disc that i use alot but its a tool that i wont remove from my bag.

This thing is an absolute meat hook and I love it. My go to approach forehand disc that I can put all my power behind and not worry about flipping or power down and shape a shot the requires more of and 2 shape to it.

This is not a disc. This is 100% pure beef.

This disc is unbelievably overstable! I feel like I could throw this into a tornado and it would still fade out to the ground.

I needed a beefy disc in my bag that could cover short to medium approaches and tricky outs. I didn't care to bag a Justice and a Harp together, so the A1 got the nod.

If I need to get a hard fade around an obstacle, my A1 will do it every time.  If I throw it high on a completely vertical rainbow anny line, it flexes out immediately and offers a surprisingly nice short flex line. If I throw it on any other line, short of the previously mentioned rainbow anny, it pretty much turns into a spike hyzer every time as long as it has a little bit of height. I really like my A1 for how little it skips, and the softer 400g plastic may have something to do with that. If I throw it low and flat to anny, it will give me a nice hop that I can actually control

The 400G plastic is nice and grippy and gives me something to really grip. My A1 has a little dome to it, and actually glides a little further than I expect from time to time. It glides a bit further than a Justice while still fading every bit as hard. Speaking of the Justice, the A1 is way more comfortable to me. The rim feels more standard and doesn't make the rim feel as deep as the Justice. Even though they are both 1.3 cm deep apparently.

Overall, I would recommend this mold to anyone that just wants something to fade back 100% of the time on tricky outs or for super short and super easy spike hyzers.

Profile: This disc does have an odd profile. It's thin but it has a sharp line at the bottom of the rim.  I wasn't sure about it at first but the more I threw this disc the more it grew on me.

Flight: This is a very interesting disc. It's VERY stable but it still gets decent distance. This is definitely a putter/mid hybrid as far as the distance goes.  What's great about this disc is if it is thrown flat it has enough fade to skip, but if thrown on a hyzer spike it is so stable that it just sits down once it hits the ground.

Comparison: This disc kicked 2 discs out of my bag: Justice & Harp.  This is just as stable as a Justice only it goes further.  This is more stable than the harp and has a more comfortable rim too.

Final thoughts: I was looking for a putter more stable than my harp and I found it.  What I wasn't expecting was for it to replace my Justice too.  This is quickly becoming a staple in my bag.

The word "overstable" is an understatement in my opinion. I am RHBH for the sake of this review. I don't have a big arm by any stretch, so that may play into the way the disc works for me. I bought it locally (sorry, guys!) and took it out for a round at the local course. There are some definite hyzer opportunities on the course and I quickly used the disc on a 250ft shot around 3 trees to an open field. Since I had never thrown the disc, I let it go somewhat flat, but pretty hard. The disc immediately left-turn-clyded right into the trees. I found as I used it for upshots, etc, if I threw it at 80% and put some air under it, it had a very dependable fade. The harder you throw it, at least for me, the more it will dive left.

It has a definite place in my bag, I just have to sort it out. It will probably replace my Harp, which I used for hyzer approaches already and will give me a little more glide than that IMO.
