The Andro C is a straight-flying stable hybrid (6, 4 ,-1, 2) designed to bridge the gap between your midrange and fairway driver. The wing of the disc is shaped like a control driver for higher distance potential and greater speed, while the larger diameter and the medium rim depth allow for the superior control of a mid-range disc.

The Andro C from Ozone Discs... this disc fits right between your mids and fairways. My crew and I reviewed the Andro C, first in the Hyrdo M plastic and then after it was Re-tooled in the Thermo plastic. Both were overstable hybrids that you could get a ton of hook out of. If your OS mid isn't flying far enough, and you OS fairway is flying too far, pick up an Andro C from Ozone Discs! Check out both of my crew's reviews here...

I was pretty excited to try out the Andro C. Ozone has been very open with the public on Reddit, and I wanted to try a small company that is interacting with the public as much as they are.

When I got my Andro, I did not like how it felt in my hand. It has a sharp beveled edge that did not quite feel right. Throwing it was even less comfortable. The plastic is super flexible, it's almost like a less grippy G* plastic. I could feel the disc flex in my hand, and I was not about that for a midrange/fairway tweener.

It behaved rather nicely in flight. It's controllable, and doesn't want to stay in the air too long. You can certainly place this disc, and with the flex it has it isn't going to take off deeper in to trouble if you nail a tree.

I really like what the company is doing, and I will continue to monitor their releases. I am going to pass on the Andro though, it just work with my hand.

It is an interesting concept to create a disc that is a hybrid of a mid-range and a control / fairway driver. It was a bit difficult to decide how best to throw the Andro C at first. The rim feels a little bit different, with a slight but noticeable sharp edge where you grip it underneath. It's easy to get a good snap on the throw, but I found that unless I kept the disc in a low flight path, it wanted to fade rather quickly.  A low, high-speed release kept a very straight line.  With the flat profile, I can see the Andro C being useful as an upshot disc that you want to park in a very specific spot, as long as you can release it just right.

The plastic is unique. I don't know how to compare it. It is durable, yet still pliable. I noticed that after this disc had been sitting at an angle on a shelf with other discs, this particular plastic kept a new, warped shape because of the way it was stored. So, the plastic keeps its form for quite a while-- I had to lay it flat and stack other discs on top of it for a couple hours to straighten it back out. It is a unique plastic indeed.

I threw a 1183g Hydro M Andro C. This disc is meant to fit in between a midrange and a fairway driver. In all honesty as I threw it, it behaved like a midrange. The stability of this disc is great!

The feel of the disc in hand is awesome, the plastic feels like MVP neutron plastic. I would suspect the durability to be great with this plastic. The form of the disc is very ergonomically designed for the hand. Feels awesome in the hand.

Throwing the disc I was able to have very dependable releases and consistant flight paths. Releasing the disc flat it would go straight and have a healthy fade. I would imagine that it would make it a great hyzer bomber, I threw a frew anhyzer lines that looked like exactly what I wanted it to do but every throwI hit a tree. Thus I couldn't see the end result of the throw.

Overall the disc is awesome and great feeling in the hand.

I recently got to try the Andro C in Hydro M plastic and it was definitely an interesting disc. I really liked the flight of the Andro C, but there were a few things about it that didn't really work for me.

The flight is generally pretty stable; I would put it in between my Verdict and Justice. I adjusted the flight ratings, as I thought they were way off personally; it has little to no turn, and a very healthy fade. It's stability also negates a lot of its "glide".

The Andro M I was throwing scaled at 183g, and it fought back really well. It wasn't so overstable that it would crash immediately, and it would flex out of an anhyzer really well. Thrown flat, it would go strait and fade early. It worked great for a variety of shots, I had the most success/fun throwing it on spike hyzers and using it for forehands.

At first, I really liked the feel of the plastic. After throwing it a few times I realized the plastic felt good while in my hand, but not so much coming out of it. I also got to test it in some light rain and this was one of the slickest plastics when wet that I have thrown. I like how soft it is, because it seems to help it stick close to where it lands, but for every other reason, I did not like it.

The overall shape and profile of the disc also didn't work for me; it has extreme, sharp edges which didn't feel very comfortable in my hand. The sharp edge mixed with the depth also gave me some inconsistent releases.

Overall, I love the flight of this disc. I just wish the shape and plastic were equally agreeable. It holds great lines on a hyzer, but doesn't spike as hard as a Justice, so I could see it being great for shaping certain lines.
