The MVP resistor is described as a slower, overstable fairway driver with more controllable speed. The Resistor has a flat profile that makes it excellent for forehand flicks and overhand shots. The Resistor complements the MVP line of control drivers by providing a more overstable driver than the Shock. Utilizing MVP's GYRO technology, the Resistor will "resist" turn and experience a strong reliable fade. MVP says, "this disc executes accuracy and rangeability like a dream."

The MVP Resistor has been the best overall utility disc Ive put in my bag.  Its not super overstable, but is overstable enough to cut some seriously wicked lines with.  It is however stable enough to put some serious meat on this thing in the wind.  It is also a fantastic forehand disc.

Such a great disc. It does not require alot of power to have it do what you need it to do and i sport a champ Firebird and Fuzion capt. america Felon. i've definitely considered removing the last two and sporting several of just these.

This is the best utility disc I've ever owned. It is sooo overstable I've never thrown anything like it. It is impossible to turn this thing over.

I use it forehand anny flex shots to hit narrow S shaped gaps in trees. I use it for forehand rollers, and occasionally I use it for short hyzer shots in high winds.

I can't emphasize enough how awesome this disc is as a forehand roller. The rubber acts like a tire, giving it great traction and some shock absorption. Put it down early to get out of trouble, give it about 10-15 degrees towards the underside and watch it hold that line the whole way. When thrown properly it'll go dead straight for 200 feet. Everytime I'm stuck behind a bush or a tree with low branches this is my goto disc to get out of dodge.

Don't try to throw this thing backhand unless you don't have far to go. You will feel like a small child trying to throw a max weight Stiletto.
