The Mustang is a beadless midrange, boasting a straight-to-stable flight. It's the perfect midrange to hold any line you put it on. The Mustang is the perfect straighter-flying compliment to the Bobcat.

Apex plastic is a premium blend designed for optimal grip. This plastic is similar to Streamline Neutron or Innova Star plastic.  While Apex plastic may not be as durable as Eternal, it has a great feel and tends to provide outstanding glide.

I fell in love with the Lobster because of the rim size and the feel of the plastic. I wanted to find something more stable than the Lobster that had the same feel. So I picked the mustang. The rim feels almost exactly the same as the Lobster. This disc flies like a Hex or a Buzzz. It has a slight turn at the beginning of the flight and a soft fade at the end. I can get this one out about 330 feet with full power. It just seems like it glides forever. I carried a lot of MVP Midrange discs for a while now, and I am finding that I am pulling out my Mint midranges more often than the MVP now. I still prefer Neutron plastic mid ranges for Forehand shots, but if I have to throw a power grip backhand, the Mint midranges are preferred.

    GET RID OF YOUR BUZZZ!

Okay that might be a little over the top but the Mustang is definitely a contender for the slot that my buzzz was in. I love the feel of the apex plastic.

To me the mustang has a lot to offer. Thrown on a hyzer it will gently flip up but it will not turn over on you. I was throwing in a big headwind and it would just ride straight and never turn over. It does have a gentle fade out of the box but I would not say that it's overstable.

Overall I think this is a great disc to try out and I'm interested to see how it will season out to be as I throw it more.

This was my first disc from Mint Discs and I have to say I am glad I tried it out. The Mustang flies similar to a Buzzz with just a little bit more fade at the end of the flight. The Apex plastic also feels great and super durable. This is definitely a disc that could legitimately claim it has a glide of 7

The Mustang was my first Mint disc. I really liked it from the first throw. It is similar to a Buzzz with just a tick more fade. Thrown flat with power it will turn some but I have never completely turned it over. I would say this disc is very accessible for beginners. I throw in lower weights and they can sometimes be harder to find.
