The Mustang is a beadless midrange, boasting a straight-to-stable flight. It's the perfect midrange to hold any line you put it on. The Mustang is the perfect straighter-flying compliment to the Bobcat.

Picked one of these up at the Mint factory store and it went straight into my bag after the first round. with no wind it does dead straight with decent fade at the end. Into a moderate headwind it will get some slight turn and a little fade. It flies most like a neutron hex but I like the eternal plastic better and the hand feel in general. For me it flies similar to a beat in buzzz but I get 20 feet more distance on average.  I've been paring it with a TSA mana and they feel very similar in hand but I cover most of my midrange needs.

This truly is my go to midrange for most shots. I was a longtime Buzzz thrower who decided to shake some things up and this sounded like what I was looking for: straight with some fade on the end. Hand feel of the disc is very comfortable, and the beadless rim is easy to manipulate for different grips. I use most of the plastic options, here are my impressions.

Royal: great grip and most stable to US of the bunch. This beats in the fastest, and is becoming a great turning disc for me.

Eternal: Hyzerflip city! Eternal has excellent grip for this type of plastic and very durable. It is straight flying with gentle fade at the end.

Swirly Apex: this iteration has a little more fight than the previous two and gets closer to actual numbers. Flies mostly straight, but has stronger fade at the end. I use 177g and it fights light winds.

Nocturnal: this is the most stable to OS of the bunch I have used. This plastic has good tactile feel and has withstood some good skips. Has the most fade and least turn for me, and can stand up to modest wind.

Overall, a great choice for a workhorse mid, especially if you like mold minimalization.

As many have said....booted my BUZZZ out the bag...and I never thought that could happen.

I'm a 915ish rated player, and this is the first midrange I can easily, consistently throw dead straight 300' with. It's fantastic. I throw this instead of a 7 speed driver all the time. So fun to put on subtle hyzers and annys as well.

The Mustang, it's straight with a touch of slow speed fade.great for anyone honestly. I personally bag 3( Royal, apex, and eternal), and they all have their purpose. The glide on the Mustang is sneaky and makes throwing it a lot of fun. Definitely recommend this disc.

After throwing the Mustang in Eternal plastic I felt the flight was different enough from the Sublime to justify it's own review. The Eternal plastic is pretty stiff but not slick. Mine is shimmery pink with a silver burst pattern on it. In flight the Eternal Mustang flies closer to the flight numbers than the Sublime. The Eternal has more high speed stability, and more low speed fade. I currently bag both as I find the flights very complimentary.

The Mustang is a nice, dependable mid from MINT Discs. It'll fly straight for a while before starting to fade out. If you're a MINT fan, or if you enjoy the plastisc that MINT makes, then you'll like this mid. It's fairly comparable to most straight to stable mids out there, so there's not much that stands out about it other than the Manufacturer and Plastic Types.

It's not as overstable as the Bobcat, but it still has some fade at the end. The flight numbers (advertised by MINT) are 5, 5, 0, 2, and I think they match up perfectly to how the Mustang flies.

This is an enjoyable disc to throw.

I found that this is a great straight flyer, with a solid and reliable fade at the end. It is like a longer Harp/Zone. This is an easily controllable disc. The rim isn't too deep or weird, leading to a comfortable disc. Anything from a fan grip to a power grip is comfortable for my medium to large hands. Because of this, I could easily put this disc on an anhyzer, hyzer, or flat throw with easy consistency. However, on the Anhyzer line, it almost always comes out and fades back to the typical fade.

This plastic is pretty nice, durable as well. On one throw, it skid across the pavement at the end of its flight, leaving no marks surprisingly. It has a typical feel to most any other premium plastics.

    I would bag this disc.

Throwing an eternal plastic at 4,400 ft in Utah. To me, 5 stars = incredible disc 4 stars = good & dependable disc. I don't give out too many 5 star ratings.

    MT01-20 - Mustang - 09-07-2020

This review is for the Eternal Mustang, which I was able to throw for a few weeks prior to release. This review was posted on release date.

First and foremost, the advertised numbers for this mold are incorrect on Infinite's Mustang page. It is NOT 5.5.0.2, but neither is the Bobcat. The discs should be labeled as 5.4.0.3 (Bobcat) and 5.5.0.1 (Mustang).

Plastic: This time around, the Eternal plastic has a shimmer to it, almost like nano metal flake. This produces some very unique looks. The plastic is very firm, the most firm of the Mint plastics, but not as grippy as Apex or Sublime. It has held its durability through multiple rounds and tree hits.

Flight: It has impressive high speed stability and little low speed stability. That said, you can crank on it very hard, but it will still have a gentle fade. I would not recommend it for flicks/forehand throws as it usually turns over. (Purchase the Bobcat for that)

Comparison to other midrange discs. The _____

    • Buzzz has more turn and is slower.
    • Roc has more fade and a bead.
    • Alias is taller, slower, and has more turn.
    • Ibex has more turn but feels very similar.
    • Chariot is similar in flight, but different in feel (taller, deeper).
    • Compass is similar in flight, but different in feel (much taller, sharper).
    • Reactor is similar in flight, but different in feel (flatter, not as tall)
