The Penny Putter is not only a great putting putter, but also a great putter for throwing off the tee. It has a neutral, straight flight with a nice finish at the end. The Bravo plastic is a little more overstable than the Victor plastics. It is a beadless putter with a nice rounded rim.

As you can see, my past self has reviewed this very disc, yet that fool of a boy has forgotten the password. I hereby give you permission to laugh at him. But if you read that review, you can see it's straightness and goodness! Also possibly my favorite plastic out there, that Bravo Glow!

Picture this. You're walking to an unfamiliar teepad at an unfamiliar course. You just so happen to stumble upon a Brave Glow Penny Putter with nobody in sight. I kept it, and boy, am I glad. It flies straight as the side of an equilateral triangle. I can pipe it down a fairway and it goes like

    -------------------------------O

See how straight that went? Also it feels really good and glows quite pleasantly.

The flight numbers are different depending on plastics with the Victor plastics showing more glide and straighter flight. The more premium plastics show a bit more fade and are dependable for a backhand off the tee. I am a primary forehand driver but the Penny doesn't handle the torque of a forehand well. Someone with a stronger backhand should love this off the tee

2020 'Green OG' Glow Penny Putter - 174g

Somehow in 2023 I found an NOS 2020 green glow Penny Putter (like the stock photo for glow Penny Putters featured above) on Infinite as they restructure their website. The plastic is NOT the same as their newer clear glow.

Feel: I really like the Luna, but don't like the chalky putter blend plastic or the price or the lack of availability. Penny Putter feels a lot like a Luna in the hand, which means it has a shorter rim. Great backhand disc for someone with larger hands like myself, and would likely be a good forehand disc for those with small to medium hands. The OG green glow plastic is much more slick than LSD's new clear glow plastic. No flashing on the rim of my disc, but there was extra uncut plastic around the center mold injection point.

Durability: Really good durability. Putter plastic Luna I had got beaten up pretty quickly, and now its overstability has faded. Penny Putter in a premium plastic is such a good compliment to a beaten in Luna.

Flight: For my mostly amateur medium speed arm, the glow Penny Putter fades gently. It's a predictable flight and works very well as a throwing putter. Decent torque resistance and fights the wind well, so the Penny is staying in the bag for now.

I would recommend this putter as a putting putter but not a thrower. My form isn't great, which is probably the main problem, but I find this disc to be very understable for a 0 turn, 2 fade.

I tried it first in Victor 2 and it was very flippy. Throwing it on hyzer at less than 50% power it flips up and keeps turning. I thought it was just the base plastic that was flippy, so I bought a glow. The glow is not much, if any, more stable. It does have its use for me, I will just use it as an understable putter instead of a deputy, proxy, etc, but I was looking for something I could throw pretty hard flat and have it go out 250 and fade a little. The Copperhead works much better for that.

This is true to the flight numbers a great throwing putter for the straight to fade putter shots we all love to throw. Shallow and beadless like a Luna in hand feel can handle short forehands as well. plus lonestar glow is great.

I am straight-up in LOVE with the Penny Putter! I like the glow plastic for my throwing putter. It flies slightly understable, but putts neutral.

    The Penny is money.

Throwing Lone Star Glow and Victor plastic at 4,400 ft in Utah. To me, 5 stars = incredible disc 4 stars = good & dependable disc. I don't give out too many 5 star ratings.

This disc is Money! Quite literally I really enjoy throwing this thing around, and putting with it. The Glow plastic is quite durable, and it feels real nice in my hand. Its a little gummy, a little flexible, but not too much. Just the right amount for a good comfortable grip that is great for driving. Its too cold for me to test out how well the glow holds up. The Victor plastic is super grippy! Probably one of the more grippy plastics out there, I actually quite like it. The stiffness of the Victor is kinda bendy - but only a little bendy, be interesting to feel the Victor 2. The Victor's faceplate feels a little thick to me, which is different than what I am used to, but not bad.

Driving with the glow plastic is pretty incredible. I really enjoy it, it is one of those that can do it all. I've had success with hyzer flips, straight shots, any, and hyzer lines. Throwing it is pretty easy also. To me it throws fairly similar to a P2 or an Alpaca -I don't think it has as much fade as indicated. Putting with the Victor plastic es pretty great as well. The grip is good, so it grabs the chains really well. I feel like it is a point and shoot disc for the most part. Obviously, the further you get out the more you'll notice the fade on it. For push putting, I find that the flight is very dependable to provide consistent putts.

Overall I really enjoy this disc. I am starting to debate on if it will replace my Pure (driving straight shot putter) or my Judge (putting putter). I'd definitely recommend this disc to anyone to try out.
