The Lonestar Nimitz is a stable to overstable disc golf driver. Named after the Fredericksburg native Chester Nimitz, the Nimitz is a disc that fits perfectly between the Curl and Warbird. This Distance Driver from Lone Star Disc has a slight turn and finishes with a reliable fade at the end of its flight. It can handle the power of experienced throwers, yet is not too fast for most players.

Handles torque of a forehand like a beast. Straight to pushing turn before fading back toward the basket. Reliable and controllable distance.

I've been working this disc in for a month or so now and finally found the overstable distance driver I've been looking for. I can get some decent turn on a flat release and always trust it will have a reliable finish. I have mine in the bravo plastic and it's the perfect blend of gummy and stiff for this driver.

This this is a workhorse for me and my bag. I use it for my backhand, forehand and thumber slot. It very rarely lets me down on a throw. Just be careful once you break it in more because it will become a little flippy in a head wind. And the domey molds are a little less stable in my opinion as well. Other than that this is one of the best molds kindle star has available in the distance category.

While flight numbers are always going to be a bit of an assumption, this one is just too misleading. No turn at all, and might as well be a 12 speed. Very domey which is neither good nor bad but it just seems like it should be flat for how it flies.

Recently purchased as my first Lone Star Disc. Right away the Bravo plastic feels amazing in the hand. Very Grippy with the top of the disc having a lot of give. To my surprise the Bravo plastic flew relativley stable. I only have thrown this disc back hand and as player who's max distance is 430' I was able to get the disc to ride a flat line with a minor turn to the right before a very noticeable fade, but only at the very tail end of the throw. More of a dump off to the ground rather than a pushing fade, feeling as though some distance is taken away by this. In comparison to a Star Destroyer this disc is easier to flip up and turn but the fade really kicks in late and sharp rather than a swing back to the left. I did not feel as though this disc had 6 glide as it seemed just the same as any of your standard drivers witha 5 glide rating.
