The Mockingbird absolutely bombs. Give it lots of hyzer and it will stand up and glide forever - I've reached close to 500 feet with this humble fairway driver. It is a little bulky in the hand, so if you are looking for something that will fit your hand a little better, try the Frio or the Guadalupe, but if you like the chunkier, almost midrange feel of this disc, you will love the Mockingbird for those max-distance shots.

This is a good disc. Good first driver for new players. It's flippy enough that even a new player should be able to get a straight flight out of it. It's also a good hyzer flipper for more advanced players. The few I've thrown have flown true to the numbers, though I have heard complaints of wild variability between runs. I like the bravo plastic. Kind of feels like g Star or esp flx

The Mockingbird is a surprisingly unique disc. It's rare that a beginner and a touring pro can both use the same disc for reliable hyzer flips but that is the case here. Give it some air and you may very well get more distance out of this than some of your bomber high speed drivers. And on top of it all, it's almost like a mid range with how consistently it will hold the lines you put it on. HIGHLY recommend!

I've got a Bravo Mockingbird and let me tell you, I try to throw it on every hole possible. It feels great in the hand, glides very well, and is very controllable (assuming wind speeds <15mph). It's got a fairly triangular and small rim with a decent dome. In my experience, it flies like a super beat-in Opto Explorer (but I've got a baby arm, so take that with a grain of salt). If you're looking for a great, straight flyer, give this one a shot.

The mockingbird is a disc that I believe can be useful for players at all skill levels. While certainly understable, this disc provides controllable turnovers for advanced players, and a straight fairway driver for beginners. My favorite aspect of the mockingbird is that when it is thrown at low speeds on hyzer, it provides for a reliable flip up shot that not many other discs can complete. However, it can also be thrown hard in the woods for turnovers and tight lines. The versatility of the mockingbird has quickly made this disc one of my favorites in my bag, and I reccommend it to anybody looking for an understable fairway.

Love my 170g Bravo Mockingbird. It fits well in the understable fairway slot in my bag. A great hyzer-flip and turnover disc! I personally prefer the Mockingbird over many of the competitors for the specific bag slot because of the hand-feel - the rim fits great in my hand and I adore the gumminess of Bravo plastic!

Naming this disc after a bird was quite appropriate because boy does this disc fly.  This has quickly become my favorite seven speed in my bag.  Sometimes I get a little trash talk from cardmates when they see the somewhat eclectic mixed bag of discs I carry, but the mocking stops when they see this disc fly.  The grip is supreme, the flight is nice and tight, and this thing bombs.  It's sneaky long and very controllable in my experience.  I'm loving this disc when playing the heavily wooded courses I frequent.  The flight is nice and flat with some late turn that slowly gives way to a subtle fade.  It can be hyzer flipped to a degree and it seems to sort work itself out if the release angle is a little off, if that makes sense.  This has been one of the most impressive discs in my recent purchases.  I think Lone Star will be making it's way to the list of major disc manufacturers in no time.

Amazing disc. I only have it in Bravo, so I can't speak to the other plastics, but it has a little turn and a very slight fade at the end as long as you don't overpower the disc. It's nice, easy, controllable distance. I find myself reaching for the Mockingbird over and over again as it has quickly become a favorite.

Have used this disc in both Glow and Bravo Plastic.

Bravo - Was great for hyzerflips and for shots that I did not trust my forehand on. Has a beautiful anhyzer flight that it will hold all the way to the finish. Only knock I have on this particular disc is that it got too flippy after maybe ~20 rounds and would instantly roll. That being said, it's a great roller!

Glow - Imo, has a lot more stability and has far better consistency. Has a little more fade and will handle head winds better. For reference, I live on the Southern Coast of Texas where winds/gusts can reach up to 40mph on a standard day.

TL;DR - Great disc for all skill levels, recommend Glow over Bravo for stability and consistency.

This is the disc you need for any wooded hole. You can control this disc and shape it just how you need. It has great glide so you can just smooth it down the fairway and it will fly straight for quite a while. Put it on hyzer and it will gently fade to the finish. Perfect disc for hyzer flips as well as with a little more power it will stand up and fly straight before gently fading at the end.
Not a great disc for the windier days but it can handle steady winds.
This disc can really work for you though and is unique in how it flies. Great for beginners and advanced players alike because of its versatility.

My junior LOVES this disc. Beautiful plastic, amazing feel in the hand. It flies putter straight with fairway distance (he throws 275-300.)

Big thanks to the Lone Star ambassadors we met at Jr. Worlds who hooked it up-- can't wait to buy and throw more pretty LS plastic!

Very good, slightly understable fairway driver. With a bit of RHBH hyzer, it rides basically straight with a modicum of fade right near the ground. I got it to be a more controllable Valkyrie, and it has been more consistent and a touch less understable. Love the feel of the Bravo plastic, soft and grippy.

Throwing Bravo plastic at 4,400 ft in Utah. To me, 5 stars = incredible disc 4 stars = good & dependable disc. I don't give out too many 5 star ratings.

The Mockingbird is a pretty awesome fairway driver. Its got a pretty stable flight path, and I think it feels pretty great in the hand. The Bravo plastic feels pretty similar to other premium plastics. The rim shape and grip on this disc makes for a comfortable grip. The plastic seems pretty solid and durable as well.

The flight path of this disc is well depicted. Fairly stable type path with a little turn to the right and a significant fade at the end. I enjoyed throwing this with a hyzer-flip. It provides a really nice straight flight with a good dump to the left at the end. I find that its stability makes this disc really reliable and enjoyable to throw.

Overall, I really like the mockingbird, I don't have any complaints with it. I would recommend this to someone who wants to try out a new disc.
