This is my go to for a wooded hole that needs a disc on hyzer around the trees, but fade hard at the end to avoid going long. I feel like they have a bit more fade than the numbers suggest, but not uncontrollable. Slower arms my like this for a predictable hyzer disc, but may get frustrated if trying to achieve a lot of distance.

This is your quintessential workhorse driver. If you bag a Thunderbird or a really beat-in firebird, you will love this disc! Strong dependable fade with amazing glide! Not to mention the plastic is just 'Chefs Kiss'.

I personally bag two of these, one in glow and one in alpha. The glow is definitely beefier than the Alpha plastic, so makes for a great team-up in my bag.

If you've never thrown any of the LSD line-up, I suggest you buy some now and you will fall in love!

    Awesome utility driver!!!

The Alpha Madcat essentially replaced the Firebird in my bag. It has a very predictable finish/fade and is great for headwind shots. I also use it for an overhand "thumber".

Alpha Plastic – Hard plastic. Feels very durable. Very overstable. A little less stable and a Star Firebird, a little more stable than a Star Thunderbird. I would give it a flight rating of 9-4-0-2.5. I needed a wind resistant fairway driver, and this is going to fill that slot just fine. It will be a good workhorse disc. I am excited to see how it flies after it beats in a little bit.

This disc for me rivals my firebirds and is always reliable in the wind. The Alpha plastic is extremely durable as well
