The Curl is a distance driver from Texas-based Lone Star Disc. At speed 11, many will find the Curl to be the perfect distance driver with high glide. It flips up faster than the Bowie and has a softer stable finish. It fits nicely between the high-speed Bowie and the speed-9 Mad Cat. It's flight has been compared to the Innova Wraith.

i like this disc a lot because it is really good in the a tail wind. Also I feel like you can put a lot of power into your throw and it wont burnover on you.

Solid feeling disc the bravo plastic i got was alot more soft then previous discs i received. On the backhand it's got a solid finish, on the forehand it's a solid distance thrower

The Curl has become a staple in my bag when I am reaching for those flex lines on the course. This disc gives that perfect flip turn and then always flexes back for a soft finish. I would be careful throwing this disc into a headwind, because it can flip pretty easily.

Since making the switch to Lone Star Disc, I have been looking for a replacement for my Westside Sword and was so excited to discover the Curl! I prefer the Bravo plastic for this disc as it has a touch less turn, but it will glide! I've always thought the Sword made a great beginner distance-driver and now believe the same of the Curl!

My Bravo Curl is definitely less stable than the flight numbers suggest, but that makes it great for big hyzer-flips or turnover shots!

    Definitely a beginner-friendly 11-speed!

Great overstable driver for beginners, think gstar wraith with a bit more dome. Bigger arms with find it to be a great distance driver to hyzer flip straight or use for big left to right shots

Easy distance. The Curl will glide forever. I will say its not as stable as the numbers state. I was throwing it flat in a calm wind and it was turning over and finishing fairly straight with no heavy fade. I would say the numbers are closer to 11/6/-2/2, compares to a Scorch but with lots more glide. I've never thrown over 400' and several times I was able to reach and exceed the 400' mark. This is my new bomber disc

The feel in the hand is fantastic. Lone Star Discs is doing it right with their plastic blends.

If you are looking for effortless distance look no further. This disc bombs. Just the right amount of turn and a dependable fade make this one of my go to distance drivers.

Absolutely fantastic disc. I'm a relatively newer player, been throwing a little less than a year as of writing this and I can consistently break 400ft with decent accuracy throwing this disc. For my arm it performs far better than other 11 and 12 speed drivers I've tried. It has a consistent gentle turn followed by a moderate fade. I'm at about 5500ft elevation, so it may be a bit more understable at lower altitude. I really like the bravo plastic, but I've got one in alpha and it's also great, slightly more stable with more skip. Only real drawback is alpha and bravo plastics both seem a little less durable than other premium plastics.

This disc is a better version of a pop-top wraith. It reminds me a lot of infinite disc's special run of "Solar Wraith" but with a sharper and slightly more narrow rim. I've only thrown the Bravo version but was able to get my hands on all their plastic types of the curl and every one has a really nice consistent pop-top. Dumps really hard on forehand's as well.

The Curl is currently the workhorse in my bag. It flies pretty true to the numbers. It flips up to flat quickly, gets a nice touch of turn before settling into a nice long straight flight until it fades hard down to the ground.

The Curl from Lone Star Disc is a great driver! My average distance with a high speed disc is near 350'. With the Curl, I'm reaching distances closer to 400'. It has an amazing glide and just the right amount of turn and fade for my arm speed! The Bravo and Glow plastics are slightly more stable than the Alpha.

If you throw a Star Wraith because you like the plastic and find brand new one a little hard to work you need this disc. Perfect rim width for me. It is a easier to stand up but it doesn't really turn it will drift a few feet right at most and it has the integrity to finish left. I can throw this high on a flex. Hyzer flip it straight to a left finish. It is the go to driver for distance and anything except strong headwinds or flex forehands where ill use  the bowie.

Never thought I'd find a disc that would kick The Wraith out of my bag. But here it is. In about a 7 g span, you will find beefy to Flippy in this mold. Consistently more stable the heavier it gets with the six I have in my collection so far. Best feeling plastic I have come across. This is better than any Star I've experienced. Seems to be much more durable too. My longest used curl isn't beating in as much as any of my star wraiths have in flight. Could be a great forehand disc if you find a flatter one, but this is a go-to for my backhand now. Can't recommend this brand highly enough, particularly this mold and the penny putter.

Throwing Bravo plastic at 4,400 ft in Utah. To me, 5 stars = incredible disc 4 stars = good & dependable disc. I don't give out too many 5 star ratings.

I am quite impressed with Lone Star Discs as a brand. They do a great job of making a good disc, that feels so good in the hand. This is a pretty solid 11 speed disc. The rim is maybe a little bit on te thicker side, but it is still comfortable in my somewhat large hands. The rim makes me think this would be more overstable than it is. I find that this is more of a stable disc. It won't hand headwinds well. It will turn over and hold the annie line till the end.

I think it is a little more stable than the numbers depict. Just a little bit.

Overall this is a good disc that offers some weaker arms (like myself) to get some pretty good distance out of the disc. I'd recommend this to almost anyone. It is a good disc.

Lone Star has another winner with the Curl!

I've had the Curl in the bag now for multiple rounds and it is my primary driver except into any headwind over 12-15mph. Handles low ceiling shots (less than 10' height with 20' width) exceptionally well out to 350' for me. Open holes I can get it out to 370' on a hyzerflip with groupings around 25'.  You can get a good -2 turn out of it if thrown flat, but hyzerflips tighten up the turn significantly and it still outdrives my seasoned Wraiths by 20-35 feet. That often times is the difference between a circle putt or a short approach.

Alpha plastic appears to be more stable than the Bravo. I have 3 Alpha plastic Curls that I rotate and they're all holding up exceptionally well. Flies similar to an Innova Champion Glow Tern, but always comes back sooner with more fade and with a little more distance.

If you are already throwing your fairway drivers out to or past 300 feet I would definitely recommend pickiing up a Curl. It will go further than the Star Wraith, but not cut back quite as hard.

Beat in Star Wraith numbers for me: 11 5  -1.5  3

Alpha plastic Curl numbers for me: 11 6  -2  2.5
