This thing is really overstable! Its numbers match the Destroyer, but the actual flight reminds me of a faster Felon, Omen or Crossbow -- it seems to start pulling into its left fade (RHBH) immediately out of the hand even when I'm really cranking on it into some headwind (though I am almost 56 and don't have huge power). For me, then, this will be more of a utility disc than a regular driver in my bag. The disc itself, though, is well made and so far I've been pleased with the quality of Legacy's plastics (Icon & Pinnacle). We'll see if this Icon plastic holds up well or beats in quickly; if the latter, then the Outlaw may see more use from me. Otherwise, I think this is going to be relegated to being a utility disc for most, but it could be a great driver for those with much more force behind their throws.

Definitely not a destroyer copy, I would say fresh out of the box it's a faster tilt. I can get about 250 out of it, but it barely holds flat at all, immediately starts banking hard to the left in a near vertical dive.

This thing is almost a higher speed Tilt. I have held it side by side with multiple other discs that I have and the parting line on this is noticeably higher than four other destroyers that I have. (I know no mold is the same). I tried throwing this flat, straight into a 25mph head wind as hard as I could and it didn't turn at all. It just went straight for about 250' before tanking hard to the left on a RHBH. I won't be bagging it which is a shame because the plastic feel is great.

I wanted to love this disc because of how flat the profile is. I was hoping it could compete with my Destroyer or Synapse. But the numbers just don't ring true to me and this thing just loves to fade out of it's flight path super early. Although it is indeed super fast, the glide is just not there. If you can throw 500 + feet, you could probably find nice use out of this disc. But for us mere mortals, it's tendency to hook HARD will keep you off the fairway. On the other hand, this is a great disc to force yourself out of the woods.

Talk about being overstable. I feel like no matter how hard I rip this thing, it never turns, which can be good. It ALWAYS finishes with high fade. Big meat hook distance driver. I have it in the icon plastic and it feels stiff, yet occasionally gummy. Being a 12 speed, it gets big ground play. This isn't my go to for distance though, just a major meat hook shot or a low big skip shot.

I've thrown most Legacy discs and I would say this might be their best. This is Legacy's Destroyer essentially in better plastic. If you have over 400 foot of power then this is one of the discs to consider when buying. The plastic is grippy but not floppy (Icon). Just a very nice and comfortable feel. Rim is not too wide for smaller hands.

Like I mentioned earlier though, you better have a lot of power or this simply won't go anywhere for you. It will show a tiny high speed turn at high speed or into the wind but has a consistent forward fade.

I have thrown nearly all the Legacy offerings and this may be their best.

I really like this disc in Icon, it is an extremely gummy and durable star like plastic. It is probably the best feeling premium plastic out there. I have some of the bottom stamped ones, and some of the almost puddle top swirl ones. The puddle top ones are extremely overstable, and the bottom stamped ones are destroyer like. I use these for extreme headwinds, skip shots, and forehand flex shots. I think this a good distance driver for experienced big arm players.

This Icon plastic is a revelation in this weight. It's the grippiest plastic I've ever held. I have heard that the ones over 170 grams tend to be harder plastic, but I can't confirm that. I just know that this 169g blue Icon Outlaw feels like a million bucks.

For throwing reference, I throw about 400ft max, and play at high elevation, and for me it doesn't  have much turn yet, but I can still bomb it. It holds straight for a long long time, and then finishes with a solid but forward fade. It handled a decent headwind pretty well, and seems to be trustworthy in all of the headwinds I've played so far. I can't wait till it beats in a little bit, because once it gets a little more turn to it I believe this could be my new longest disc.

The Outlaw is what I reach for when I need a max distance drive without the fear of turning it over to much.

Friend of mine throws nothing but outlaws and has several in his bag in different wear. I threw a few and liked it and got me one in icon. When I first got it it was dead straight with a hard fade at the end. Flew very much like my star destroyer. But if you have the power to get it up to speed you can see the turn and get some distance on it. Once I got more power and it broke in some I could really trust this disc and get it out there, it was flat topped and felt great in the hand. I wouldn't recommend this for a beginner but for someone who has played and developed their form and power to be able to give it what this disc wants.

I sadly lost this disc or it could've replaced my star destroyer. The plastic on the icon is really something else very durable and grippy at the same time. If you are wanting to try out Legacy I would have this disc high on the list of first discs to get from them to try.

The Outlaw is an outstanding distance driver for those with the power to get it up to speed. The Icon plastic was very grippy, durable, and some what soft. It feels very similar to Star plastic. The flight of this disc is overstable to begin with with very little turn, but it does develop some turn as it wears in. This is a nice disc to cycle and carry multiple discs in different stages of wear.

This is by far some of the best plastic on the market in my opinion. I love it due to how much grip it provides. It is a really nice blend of firm and tacky that give me confidence in all seasons. My second run skulboy stamped icon outlaws are absolutely money.

Best controlled distance with a dependable fade. When beat it will grab a straight line down the tightest fairway.

Tired of paying $40+ to replace your precious perfectly seasoned Destroyers? Pick up an Icon Outlaw for retail and never look back. Outlaws are what Destroyers should be. Thanks to Legacy's consistency, you can replace these with ease if need be and not break the bank. Legacy's Icon and Legend plastics feel better than other brands and stand the test of time. True to it's flight numbers, the Outlaw is the distance driver that you've been searching for.

I really like this disc. I've thrown star and champ destroyears for over a year, but this disc seems to fly better. It's not as OS as a brand new 4x destroyer, but it can handle a strong throw. I throw the furthest and most accurate of my friends and I recently decided to bag just 1 of my OS destroyers and a couple of thsee outlaws. 1 last thing. The grip for backhand and sidearm feels really nice. I like a deep grip like a destroyer and this possibly feels even better.. Okay last thing, the numbers are accurate. I can throw 400+ easily and the numbers are spot on. NICE WORK STEVE and legacy crew

If you like the feel of the destroyer, but find them too overstable, throw an outlaw.  The outlaw flies more like a stable ddx than a destroyer, and is very good for hyzerflips and long anny lines.

Great Disc! Both Plastics.350 plus feet.  Right Hand Back Hand. Have tried first runs, production runs and lots of colors.  One of my favorite discs! Feels great in the hand and throws even better. To me it is more stable than both a destroyer and a trespass.  The Trespass being the least stable. Pretty straight thrown flat some turn  once beat in but little.  My most trusted distance driver.  I do bag a Tresspass(beaten) as well for when i want more s curve distance shots but seldom get the space to throw the big S.  The outlaw is good for Forehand shots also but the fade is more like 2.7 on forehands maybe 2.8 .  Icon plastic will fly a bit farther but i love both.  Would recommend weights from 172 to 169. Max Weight if you want that extra healthy fade or play in more wind.

By far the best driver in the game. I bag 5 icon outlaws at all times and i could not do with out them. I use the heavier ones to flick or if there is a heavy head wind. But....my favorite ones are the lighter Icon ones. the 167's or 168's they are complete bombers. First when you get the lighter ones they fly dead straight and always end up fading to the left. Then as they beat in they begin to fly straighter. I credit my whole last season success to these discs. I WAS a long time destroyer lover. This is a better flying destroyer that actually has grip. I too was like you once. I could never part with my preciouse destroyers. However, give the outlaw a try and it will not leave your bag. Also do not be big headed when it comes to this disc, get a light weight one and you will love it. The plastic feels so good, and once you hold your destroyer and it slips out of your hand, you will never want to go back.

    I own 4 outlaws: All Icon plastic, 2 flat-tops, 1 slight dome, and 1 very domey. 172, 175, 173, 174 in that order.

My abslolute go-to distance driver for long, overstable shots. I first picked up the Outlaw when I went to LA and was exposed to Legacy for the first time. Both the Icon and the Pinnacle plastic are fantastic plastics and really got me hooked on their discs. The icon outlaws have a shiny, grippy top and a smoother, machined underside which helps with the release of the disc--a small detail that really helps with the feel of the disc.

This disc likes to be thrown on line-drive power shots, as it lacks the glide of most distance drivers--which turns out to be a good thing. This lack of glide means that it fights the wind extremely well. This is by far the most consistent distance driver in my bag, but is by no means the farthest flying (this maxes out around 410 for me). Additionally, this is the only disc in my bag that I feel comfortable both backhand and forehand--which speaks to the versatility of the disc.

The flat-tops are extremely fast and a little less stable as a result, while the domier outlaws are significantly more stable. In summary it is a less-glidey, more overstable destroyer and a great disc for someone who plays in the wind frequently like myself.

Absolute go to driver. I have a purple 173 icon. I say that because of all the colors in icon plastic, purple seems the grippiest out of those I own. That could just be me though. Anyway, this disc a machine. Never had a destroyer so can't compare. This thing is grippy, good flex, and totally reliable. You would have to have a solid arm to turn it over (still pretty new.) Very consistent flight.

I got one of these when they were first released and right out of the box I fell in love with it. The icon plastic is very very impressive it's a lot like the innova star but more grip. The disc flies a lot like my star destroyer but not quite as stable. This disc loves big hyzer lines, I release with a moderate anhyzer and it flips to flat then hyzer very quick. Definitely check out this disc!

I love this disc.  I have never been a Destroyer fan, but this has become one of my most used disc.  Thrown flat it has some nice predictable turn, with a strong fade.  Love the icon plastic, close to Star but with a little more grip.  Breaks in great.  Carry 2, a tree'ed one that has more turn and a newer one to get those long hyzers.

Bought a few 1st run discs to replace my Destroyer and it has been the best decision of my young disc playing time. This is a must have disc in anyone's bag. You can throw backhand or forehand and you won't be disappointed. Massive skip, so be careful on the angle in which it lands or you'll pay the price. I currently have three in my bag, looking to get a few more as gifts for my playing buddies for Xmas.

A great disc. Dependable. Good speed... If you have a lighter than max weight one, you can turn it over but it will still come back with a predictable fade. If you want to take a solid hyzer route, this disc will hold the line for a minute. A powerhouse disc created by Legacy. Fantastic.
