Basic Information
| Biography: | I started playing disc golf with my first tournament in late 2014. It was an immediate obsession. I wanted to learn how to make the disc fly farther, do what I wanted it to do and go where I wanted it to go. Placing 5th in my first tournament, I knew that I could eventually get good at this sport. I began working on learning what flight numbers were, characteristics of the discs, what they would do for me. I was turned on to the Trilogy brands as a go to for what I was looking for. The King was the first Westside disc I bought and have purchased several since then. 2015 was my first full tournament year. I took home 1st place in the Rec division at the Tahoe Pro/Am and several top 5 finishes that year. My rating began to go higher and higher, but stalled out just shy of 900 coming into 2016. My goal for this year, hit 900 and keep going. So far in 2016, I don't have a win, but I have been playing in Intermediate and placing in the middle to top of the pack. I played in the AM Worlds in Madison WI, in the Masters Division. With the end of 2016 approaching, I can't wait to see what 2017 holds for me and what progress I make in the months to come. I enjoy teaching people what disc golf is and how to get started. I wrote an article for my agency news letter and have several people come and tell me how much they enjoy it and that they started playing with their family. Without education on what the game is, there will be no growth in the sport. Representing with a good attitude goes a long way. | ||||||||||||||||
