I tried the Villain thinking it would be a good straight forehand driver with moderate fade.  I tried the recoil at the same time.  The Villain has prominent turn on the flight path which can be accentuated or minimized based on release angle.   I have thrown many very straight drives with the Villain and it is mostly consistent.  The only problem for me is that a little too much anhyzer leads to the disc turning all the way over.

I have since switched to the Sheriff for max distance forehand but when i need a straight shot with slight S curve, the VIllain is the best disc in my bag for this.

Love my villain.  Keyword - my.  The run I have does not fade hard.  I can get a dead straight flight with a slight forward fade at the very end.  Everyone that has seen it thrown always asks what it is and when I tell them, they don't believe it.  No hard fade.  Dead straight.  Works for me.

The Villain has a great combination of distance and reliability, falling directly between an Enforcer and a Trespass.

The Villain has a deeper, narrower rim than the Enforcer with similar dome and glide as the Trespass.    This is a very accessible disc for a lot of intermediate to advanced players to use as a go-to, reliable, windy day, distance driver and hyzer bomber.

The Villain works well for forehand throws, especially for riding on a side wind for distance.  Keep in mind though, that the Scythe has a more shallow rim with a much more flat top, which (for me) makes it easier to consistently sidearm, especially into the teeth of a strong wind.

Strongly consider this disc if you have a bigger arm with smaller hands or are just looking for a tad more stability over your Trespass.   If you have that advanced backhand arm with big hands and a strong sidearm, the Enforcer may be more of the all around better disc.

Fabulous disc. I bought it because I wanted a favorable headwind disc but with fade for some consistent hyzer lines and spikes and it delivers.

Even thrown on a straight line- it needs some power but my god it delivers, wind or not. It's very forgiving out of the hand as well as long as you follow through with your form and power through. Not the best for skips in my experience, although I'm sure it's just me with its stats.

I have a max weight crowbar Villain. The Villain is a super straight long bomber. I liken it to Innova's TeeRex for its stability. Villain is extremely comfortable in the hand and releases very clean. Great side arm/flick disc and for strong backhand throws. Great distance without too much effort. Solid disc, five stars from me.

Latitude's version of a Xcalibur by Innova or a PD2 from Discmania. Super strong fade for those who have slow arm speeds or lack snap. For those of who don't, this disc is a great wind fighting work horse. I carry two in my bag at all times. I keep one semi-beat in for longer flex shots and hyzer shots that need to penetrate forward during their fade, not just dump left. The newer one is always for spike hyzers, hurricanes, flex shots that still have to end super hard left and side arms that I need to not turn over on me. I prefer this to any of the other speed 12 massive overstable discs on the market today. The Opto is definitely more overstable then the Gold Line but the Gold Line will fly further out of the box.
