The Villain is a high-speed distance driver with massive fade. This very overstable disc is recommended for power players and forehand throws. Latitude 64 says that this disc is also good for tomahawk throws.

Went out on a limb and bought this disc after someone on the Trilogy fan group Facebook page was singing its praises. DD had the LTD Edition white 173g gold line Villain for 13.99 with free shipping on their website so I bought one. The only other 12 speed disc I had at the time was a domey OS champion destroyer, which I had a hard time getting a flex shot out of on BH, with decent success FH.

This disc is my go to work horse distance driver now! What a great disc. I have no idea why this disc is OOP, or why it wouldn't sell.

I can put all of my power into this disc (which would cause that Destroyer to flip a bit), this disc eats it for breakfast, turns a hair, glides straight, and dumps hard at the end. Its very comfortable, very controllable, and very consistent. If I throw a straight line with near max power, it flies dead straight for about 375' then starts fading. If I throw a big anny flex line, it will glide on a huge turn and then fight out of it and dump hard, landing straight ahead of the tee 400-425'. If I throw a spike hyzer, it will glide up high, and then start fading when it loses speed, spike into the ground and you gotta dig it out at 300-350'.

If you want a laser beam distance driver with a hard fade, a big spike hyzer distance driver, or an easy-to-control headwind eater, this is the disc for you.

I'm amateur, finally getting my form down and increasing in power, definitely would not recommend this disc to weaker arms or new players, you would probably hate it.

okay so I got this disc as part of the mystery disc upgrade and all I have to say is that it's awesome. I mainly throw mvp and don't really throw anything else except a sidewinder in champion plastic.  So anyway, throwing this disc backhand is quite a challenge for me it fades super hard which is good if you have the power for it. Throwing this sidearm is awesome, better results then throwing backhand. It comes out super straight before its fade kicks in. It kind of reminds me of my friends prodigy, I think it's an fd2, it tends to stay straighter then that disc. Doing a turnover shot with this disc it will hold an anhyzer line pretty good like to well that's if you put to much on it it won't come out of that line to fade. If you get the right angle on it it does super good on turnover shots. All in all this disc has found a place in my bag and removed a couple discs because of this disc.

I absolutely love my Gold line. It was the first distance drive I ever really learned and now I bag 4 all in various stages of beaten-in-ness. Flick or backhand this is my go to disc!

not sure if i'm throwing this disc wrong due to grip or what. maybe it was damaged in shipping? i just know my max weight villain is flippy. i'd much rather throw my destroyer or katana into a headwind. got this disc specifically for headwind throws, but i can't trust it. disappointed, but i hope to find another use for it.

I have a large number of Villain's that I keep handy and I always keep one Opto and one Gold in my bag that run between 167-172g. I love this disc and it is my go to overstable driver. As is expected, the Gold Villain isn't quite as overstable as the Opto so you'll find that it holds long and straight before it has a good, beefy, reliable fade, whereas, the Opto Villain starts fading out quite a bit sooner and a bit harder. I also tend to flick with the Villain's should the distance call for it. A must have for Trilogy throwers.
