The Havoc is an overstable high-speed driver good for forehand throws for intermediate players, and backhand throws for advanced disc golfers. The flight path of the Havoc has a slight degree of turn (-1) but strong fade (3) at the end of the flight that balances out strong snapping releases. This disc has a fairly wide rim (2.3 cm) and is slightly taller than the average maximum distance driver.

This is a very fun disc to throw, I was expecting it to be a little more stable than it was, but after throwing a few times I found out that it was a little flippier than expected. This disc has become a staple in my bag, For those long straight shots I can put this out there flat and watch it turn decently, with a nice consistent fade at the end. I could see this being overstable for beginners, maybe a little too stable, but is definitely a good disc to introduce beginners to distance drivers.

I typically play at 5000+ ft, with 420ft max power.

Opto plastic is always great, one of my favorite plastics, great durability with a nice grip. The flight numbers on this feel off. It is rated in that Nuke flight ratings but has much more turn and less fade. It has a ton of glide and does seem to have a decent amount of fade at the end to come out of a big turn. I found it somewhat reliable, rarely rolling over, but occasionally not fully coming out of a turn. With the large amount of glide you can get big distance with an intermediate arm, and if thrown hard with a slight anhyzer you can get it to hold a big turn nearly all the way to the ground. Great disc, but not what it is advertised as with the flight numbers.

Not 100% sure what Latitude 64 is thinking with the flight numbers, but they are not correct. The way it's advertised, you would think it flies like an Innova Destroyer, but it's much closer to a Shryke. With some hyzer, this disc with pop up and fly for days. Thrown flat, it will turn and fade ever so slightly. With some power, you can get it to turn and hold that turn all the way down. I know some Latitude 64 pros use it as a roller. Get one ASAP!

I had heard good things about the Havoc for a while, but couldn't find one anywhere. One of my beefs with Trilogy companies is that they are notorious for making great molds that people love and then ceasing production of them for some odd reason. Either way, I finally got my hands on one, and man oh man, it has not disappointed.

The Havoc has become my main distance driver for max distance. Yes, it has a fair amount of undesirability, but when you throw it on a bit of a hyzer flip, it gets a nice full flight, and it's fast too. And it has great glide! I have been getting birdies on holes I don't normally birdie, because of this disc! I had a really good look from just outside the circle on a 400' hole last night at league. I had never been that close before. (forget the fact that an 11 year old did get the birdie on the card, but I digress).

Don't walk, run now to pick up a Havoc! It won't disappoint!

    Disc - 171 Opto Havoc

Feel - The havoc has a fairly wide rim as it is a 13 speed but is not overly wide. The Opto plastic is awesome as it has a solid grip but is still durable.

Flight - The Havoc is nothing like its numbers suggest in my opinion. It is fairly flippy. I use this disc for flipup forehands that continue to turn or backhand rollers. I like this disc a lot for these purposes but I would say that the numbers deceive many buyers. Good disc but not for the purpose many buy it for.

Overall - Good disc but the numbers are so far off it takes a couple stars off for me just because buyers cannot easily discern what they are buying.

As a player that still struggles to throw past 350 to 400 ft this is a great disc to throw hard and flow fairly straight. the disc will reward you if you throw it flat just like any other disc. The havoc has a -1 turn so it will anhyzer a tad off the start but it will glide far and stay true to the line. when first looking at the speed i was worried Iwasn't going to be able to throw due to the high speed but as long as you have a little knowledge of throwing a disc with a high speed you should be just fine.

The Havoc is a great disc when you are ready to try a driver. Beginners with less than six months active throwing experience should stick to Fairway Drivers. After you can land your Sapphire and Jade where you want between 200-225 feet, the HAVOC is a great step forward.

Flight numbers refer to Advance players. As I am a new player with a weaker arm, I don't get the same flight characteristics. For me it is a pretty straight flyer, minimal turn and fade no more than 1.5 which makes it a really good disc for long relatively narrow fairways.

This is a good disc, but I will say that this is far from a stable disc. I don't know if I have a one off or whatever it is, but this thing is F L I P P Y. I forgot to put this away for a headwind shot and tried to bomb it only to have it literally javelin into the ground. I do want to get one thing straight, this is a seriously fast and far platform. If you dial this mold in right, you are going to get all of four hundred feet if you've got the power. While we're on the relative negatives, I really don't care for the plastic. I don't like any Latitude 64 plastic aside from the Recycled blend, honest enough, and even then I don't really care for how they feel in hand. The good news, for this disc, is that those are both my problems. This is a good disc that doesn't really need to be broken in, just handled with care, so to speak. I think, also, this may be my first true Neutral for beginner rating, if every disc is like mine. If every Havoc is as flippy as mine, this wouldn't be a bad first distance driver provided the thrower has been through the gauntlet of fairway, intermediate, and hybrid drivers. For an experienced player, that hyzer flip or sweeping S curve will really come in handy. It's not a part of my regular bag anymore, but I can't find a whole lot wrong with this disc.

I had a 163g frostline havoc that I threw further than any other disc. I could get this on average to 500 ft. I lost it and have been missing it for ages until I finally found one today. It's understable, so I have to give it some hyzer and it flips up to flat, over a little, the glides for days, then finishes strong. Love it

Excellent high speed understable disc. Even brand new, it is easy to turn over, but when thrown with plenty of hyzer, it can fly very far dead straight, or with some turn. I throw up to 425 feet and I was easily able to throw 400+ with this disc brand new. Very useful!

My first favorite driver when I was mainly a forehand thrower. I have put this disc in the basket more than a couple times from over 150 ft before the fade kicked in (and before I learned the art of the midrange).

For me, the only caveat is that I had to buy a new one every season (given I took off most winters) as, after it broke in a little, I could really over turn it. This was mainly due to improper form, however.

When it was broke in a fair amount, the turn really lends itself to a gorgeous s-curve. It sits in my bag now for random sidearm shots and, oddly, overhand throws. Looking back, it's a bit high-speed for a beginner unless they can really whip it. However, I feel like it plays a lot more to a 12 or maybe an 11 and, brand new the turn is closer to 0 as I was able to throw lazarbeams with crisp plastic and a hefty snap.

I love the Havoc.  It was one of the first discs I threw.  I didn't have the thrust for a 13 speed disc back then so I sold it and a couple years later bought several more:  Optos, Airs, a Gold Line, a Gold Burst, and an Opto-X.  I only throw the Havoc backhand since I use the Sheriff, War Horse, and Stiletto for forehand high speed shots.

The Havoc is the only speed 13+ that I can throw backhand and get the expected flight path. The Opto and Gold Burst get a good turn if thrown with a full run-up but I can't throw either on short tee pads since I don't get enough spin without a full run-up.   The Gold Burst and Air turn more and are grat for hyer-flip shots -- even into a headwind.  The Air turns most of all. I can throw a long sweeping turnover, a straight lower power shot, or a long Hyzer-flip.  The Opto, Gold, Burst, and Air will all turn turn hard with a moderate headwind and have landed behind me or close to it with a 30-40 MPH headwind. The Opto-X does well in a headwind.  Thrown flat and low it will get a good turn and fight back tro straight.

I am currently bagging an Opt-X, Gold, Opto, Gold Burst, and an Air and can depend on the Opto to finish to the fade side, the Air to finish on the turn side, and the Gold Burst in the middle slightly to the fade side.

I have just started using the Opto Havoc as a roller and it seems to do well if I lay it done quickly to get under low canopies.

I would only recommend this disc to a beginner/intermediate thrower if they have consistent form, can consistently apply anhyzer and can throw at least 45 mph.   If you can throw in the 50s you don't need to be able to put anhyzer on it. I throw 46-52 MPH.

    Excellent for Sidearm Drives

I am primarily a sidearm drive kind of guy. In the past I've been a huge fan of TeeDevils from Innova, however those were discontinued in good plastic. I ended up switching to the Havoc and it did not disappoint. This disc has just the right amount of under stability to make it the main distance driver for an intermediate player. I was able to use this disc for everything from hyzer flips to s-flexes to simple hyzer distance shots. If you put the time in to control your angles, the Havoc will reward you.

The downside is that I found Havocs will eventually beat into rollers. I normally can't get one to last more than about 4 months before it gets super flippy and becomes a roller in the wind. I ended up switching to the Enigma and I have never been happier!

This is my max distance driver. It does seem to have a little more turn than the numbers indicate, but not as much as say the bolt. It does come back nicely at the end of the flight though.

This disc reminds me a lot of the Destiny with a bit more fade.  Like the Halo, something about the rim is different and feels great.  Wildly under-rated and underused as a wide-open bomber or hyzer-flip disc.

So my disc's numbers were a little different than advertised. Mine is pretty flippy, and it only fights back some times, making it pretty inconsistent. It seems like it is having a battle with itself every time I throw it on if it is going to fight back or not. Sometimes it doesn't... sad face. But when it does, oh boy. This thing is an absolute monster of a bomber. It goes a long way. I actually gave this thing a glide 6 because man this thing can fly when it wants to. I have it in 173g, so maybe I'll try it at max weight to try to see if I can get more consistency out of it. If you can find a Havoc that flies true to it's numbers, you are lucky to have potentially one of the best discs on the market, but mine wasn't.

The Havoc was a bit of a strange disc for me. DRAMATICALLY more understable than the flight numbers indicate. Almost every time I released this disc flat it would roll over hard and burn. Hyzerflipping is necessary with the Havoc if you want it to fly in anything resembling a straight line. The distance potential is there. The Havoc glides well and has very little late fade. Strange rim configuration too. Reminds me a lot of an UnLace. Similar flight too.

Overall I had to knock a couple stars off the rating because the Havoc doesn't fly as advertised. It works as an understable/turnover disc, but not as a straight line distance driver. It glides well and is still able to achieve great distance as long as you can hyzer flip it without rolling it over completely.

For how this disc is SUPPOSED to fly the Ballista is a far better option.

    Opto 171g

I would say Latitude is spot on with the flight ratings, although it's not overstable, rather stable at best. It's now my go to max distance driver. I can shape a nice S-line with this, and still remain in full control of the disc flight even in medium winds. Thrown flat and full power (no wind), it will turn over for me and usually not come back until very end of its flight so I need to give it just a hint of hyzer.

I would recommend something more stable for stronger winds as it can bite, and with the amount of glide it has (it has amazing glide), it bites hard.

This is my most controllable distance driver.  I only get  a few more feet out of my more understable drivers.  I get a little turn with a reliable fade at the end.  When in doubt this is the disc I'm going to throw off the tee.  It does fine in crosswinds and is okish in a headwind.

I would say it's stability is in between the Ballista and the Bolt/Knight, being closer to the Ballista.  If the Ballista was just a little to stable for you to use as your main driver (like me) then this is the disc you are looking for.

Very underrated disc that flies a bit more understable than the numbers indicate

Rated it a 3 but wouldn't let me change it. But I was extremely disappointed in the havocs numbers.. Bought it to try to replace my nukes (same numbers) and it wasnt accurate to what the numbers claimed at all. Bought it for a max distance driver, but when thrown about 70% power it would flip into a roller.. But it stayed in my bag for that reason. When thrown softly it's almost like a long distance Saint or escape. I can use it for a long turn over shot that I know will go right soft and slowly and have a little fade at the end. For players with slower arm speeds this would be ideal but for someone who throws with high arm speed I wouldn't recommend it for a distance driver, I'd pick up a world or a giant. Numbers Wont change either so I would rate this disc a 13 6 (-2.5) 2

I picked up a Havoc Opto Air from Wysocki when he was in Texas at the Nick Hyde Memorial.  He played doubles at our local course that night with us.  He picked out a Havoc and told me the launch it, and launch I did.  It's a 156g Opto Air.  Thrown with some power, on a hyzer line it'll flip up and turn, hook up and fade perfectly.  With some speed and accuracy, this disc will glide for what seems forever.  Beautiful S curves.  Not wind friendly, mostly becuase of the weight of mine, but I've heard and read here even the heavier Opto's aren't wind friendly.

Frost 172. This is my go to distance driver for pure distance and a roller driver. Not the best in windy situations, sometimes with the smallest wind will flip out and go right. One of my favorite discs for how the disc feels in my hand as far as rim width and height. I wouldnt recommend to a beginner but more of an advanced player for how easy it can be to not throw it correctly and it just go hard right or left.

I've got a 175gm Boss & wanted something a little less stable that I could throw hyzer and get it to sit up and ride...  my 170gm Havoc does just that. Ignore newb who did not disclose the weight of his Havoc or have the good sense to throw it on a hyzer line.  Yes if thrown flat with a lot of snap it needs room and height to work.  Overall a very versatile disc for most players.  Like any disc, finding the right weight for your throwing style is important.  The Havoc has great glide, seems to accelerate out of the hand, flips up and rides beautifully, fits the hand great and is very easy to throw; my favorite disc right now.  It's overstable i'd put it about +1.2-1.3 less stable than the Nuke more stable than Crank.  If u'v got 380+ power and want a fast glidey hyzer flip workhorse that is easy to throw and control: Havoc Havoc Havoc.  My Opto has a nice dome and pop, I haven't tried GL in this disc yet. Get a Havoc now, thank me later. Lighter weights should work very well for less powerful goffers and stay in the bag as they progress for big anhyzers and control hyzer flip tunnel shots.  This is great fast disc to grow with and learn the hyzer flip, but not a beginners disc. Once u've been playing enough to have a feel for snap spin and are throwing in the 265-285 range with consistency and reasonable control, try a 165-166 Opto Havoc.  Don't try and throw it to the moon, focus on spin and a smooth release with a little hyzer angle and enjoy.  Peaz...

This has been my favorite disc for about a year now. I have it in 172 grams. I can trust this disc to go far no matter how I throw it. Put it on some annie, it'll take a huge s pattern and go extremely far. Put it on some hyzer and it is just understable enough to come up flat and go straight as an arrow for days. I can throw almost any shot with this disc.
