The Halo is the premium distance driver for power throwers. This is an ultra-high-speed (13) overstable driver and will provide max distance for the strongest arms. This is one of the thinnest (1.4 cm) discs on the market, but has a very wide rim (2.4mm) that makes it ultra fast. The Halo is one of Latitude 64's farthest flying discs.

I'm not going to say this would be good for a beginner.  I do put one of these in the bag on none windy days.

The Halo is a fantastic disc in lighter weights (<160 g). I'd recommend it to anyone throwing light weight Apes and Bosses. It flies straight on a strong pull and has a nice left finish.

I have a 152 gram opto air halo.  It is my go to max distance driver.  Most of my previous max distance drivers were on the understable side of things which made it very tricky when the wind was involved.  This disc flies stable despite its light weight.  I don't throw it directly into moderate or more headwinds, but it is stable enough to handle most other wind situations.  If I throw it hard and flat it does turn some before coming back to finish slightly left (rhbh).  If I throw it on an anhyzer, it will follow the line until fading back slightly at the end (if given enough time/height).

I ordered this disc in hopes for it to become my new max distance tailwind disc and that is exactly what it has become. I got this disc at 156g in opto air and it fills great in my hand. I have long skinny fingers so the big rim and thin rim depth feel good to me. When I really lay into this disc and release it flat it will turn to maybe -2 or -3 and fade back about a 2, and that's with a 10 plus tailwind. This thing flies for days easily going over that 400' mark. I plan to pick one up in the 170+ range to make my max distance calm wind driver. Great disc.

Good disc. I usually throw max weight, but for fun, I decided to get an Opto Air 155g(I think) and give it a few rips. On first throw, I noticed that even in this light weight, the disc is still overstable. When I really rip it, the disc is a bomber. Goes out straight, maybe a little anny, speeds though the turn, and has a pretty massive fade back to the left if you leave it high. Thrown low, fast, and flat, it may turn a little, but usually not too much, and it will hold a pretty straight line before finishing with a fade. At some point I will probably get an opto air Havoc to compare, maybe a gold line havoc as well. Good disc altogether. More fade than I expected out of the opto air version.

I have a Red Opto Air Halo. This disc feels good and rockets out of the hand. When I throw it flat, it produces a soft S curve. When I throw it hyzer, it holds that angle. I've also tried a max weight Opto Halo and it also had a strong curving flight. Great high-speed driver. I recommend Air plastic for players with little arm power.
