This is the disc I have been able to throw the farthest(RHFH). Super fast and pretty mellow fade. This thing will hold a slow turn like nothing else I've tried.

    I would change the flight #s to 13  5  -1.5  2.5

This is an interesting disc that I had a really hard time working with. It has a good bit of turn and yet a strong hooking fade. So if I threw it very hard it would turn a lot and not come back, and if I threw it with a lot of hyzer it would fade much harder than I wanted. I am sure there are many who could use this well, but if just was a bit too finnicky for my tastes.

I got this disc looking for an overstable driver with a little more speed than I had in my bag. I got the recycled plastic that came with an awesome stamp. I absolutely love this disc! My go to for FH, and anhyzer BH throws. It holds a consistent line, reliable fade and good for skip shots is some cases. It's added a good 50 feet to my drives. Nothing but good things come from this disc for me.

I only call not beginner friendly because to get the intended flight i believe you need a strong arm. I just started throwing this disc and i will talk it up every chance i get. It forces me to throw with good form but the combo of that and the disc gave me about 75 ft on my furthest drive with my previous bomber.

I'm giving this disc 3/5 not because I didn't like the disc, but because I felt the flight numbers were pretty misleading. I was looking for a slightly more stable Destroyer (most of mine I'd consider flippy) and this thing was even more understable than those. However...this thing has some wicked glide and pretty easy to control if you give it some hyzer.

For instance, once I understood its turn, It turned into a great flip up and rip disc. Pretty effortless 400ft. Also, a bit too understable for my FH tastes, but Got it about 450 with a flip up FH that was gorgeous.

Great disc, just a bit more understable than advertised.

Very similar to the cutlass, just a little more flat and alot more turn. If I put too much torque or power behind this disc, i loose control of the turn a bit but, I am still trying to get this beast under control. I prefer the cutlass but if I have a wide open fairway I'll huck this guy. For skip shots or sharp turns I keep this holstered. but if you need to ride out a hyzer 50-100 extra feet to make a gradual fade path, I grab this guy

Hit my first ace today with this disc. Super used gold line 175g. My experience with this disc has changed throughout the time that ive had it, When I first got it I didn't have the arm speed to control it and it was very inconsistent. As my arm speed increased I got much more control over it and Became one of my favorite sidearm drivers. As it got more beat in it got a quite a bit less overstable and I can turn it over if Its thrown too hard. It defiantly has some degree of turn and a good amout of fade. If you have the arm speed for this disc it will be a  very nice workhorse driver that you can use for almost any shot

One of my first disks was a halo in opto, the lightest they make. Actually it was in the second set I I ever got. The groove was my fave at the time due to its ability to corect my bad throws back in to a mean str8t line with its turn and fade but my halo always went past it. The down side with the halo was it stuck with whatever angle I tossed it. Anny? Even a little and it anny'ed to the ground and slid flat. Hyzer? It'd run up, stall and slam down with the thunder and stick. But get it out flat and it goes for days and fades at the end with a nice distance adding skip. I'm in Oklahoma though and wind is a real thing most of the time and it was way to unreliable that light. I picked up a gold line max weight and now that is my go to distance driver. If I ever have room to my right to rhbh and alow for the fade, this is the disk off the pad. It's great for Hyzer bombs into the woods from the open for those deep hidden chains too due to its slim profile. As long as you don't trunk out it slices right through. From my first month to this day, it out throws everything I have by at least 10-25%. any other disk I bag fills in its weak spots but this disk is my keystone. I think it's a great learning disk to as it holds to your throw and forgive nothing.  The groove let me throw good as a noob. This one taught me to actually throw good. I have tons of disks I like for one reason or another but this one is my soul mate. I feel it glides longer than they say and is slightly slower with less of a fade than reported but those numbers fall apart in my opinion anyway based on your arm so who knows. Whatever the numbers are, it just goes farther. Allot of disks promise more distance but all fall about the same... exept the halo.

The Halo, think the American Iconic classic movie: "Angels in the Outfield".  Throws seem almost guided by a higher intelligence. This is the best driver I have owned. A delight for those who love to play with high speed turn. Once broken in this disc will make you happy. Hyzers, helixes, and bee-lines, oh my! It's fast and angelic. Fun, fun, fun.

When first throwing a 175g GL, I was disappointed that it was so understable. Compared to Innova Boss or Destroyer with similar stats, it flies totally different for me. It's a noticeably thin disc with a wide rim and very little dome, it's mostly flat on top. The plastic feels phenomenal as you'd expect from Lat64 GL. I'm a beginner and my driving technique has been coming together over the past couple months, so I was expecting to have a stable flight path throwing this disc. Surprisingly, not so.

I've been throwing my Halo a bunch since it's simply getting more distance than any other disc I've thrown so far, but it's still difficult for me to get the right control throwing into a headwind as it seems a bit touchy. It's as if the turn on this disc is fighting the stability for a majority of the flight. Sometimes, that line between being able to fade out of a turn and sailing off into the distance seems rather fine. Given my lack of consistency, this disc has actually forced me to learn better power control and wind compensation.

It really is an impressive flier. If I had better control, I'd opt to throw my Halo on long, low-ceiling, tunnel shots. After beating the disc in a bit (really a lot, super resilient plastic, fyi) I can throw my Halo on a laser line about 300' with super tight s-curve when kept under an 10' ceiling. Then again, I've given just a tad bit too much power and it's turning for the ground. I'm guessing this disc is too understable for bigger arms, but if you throw 300-350, throwing flat or with slight hyzer, you can achieve net straight to slightly stable flight path.

EDIT: surprisingly, mine beat in pretty quickly and now turns a bit too much for my control.

EDIT 2: got a new run, and it's much more stable even at a lighter weight.. pretty reliable and stable with a bit of turn. for intermediate arms.

I've thrown Opto and Gold Halos. They seem fairly similar in that they're all over the place. A couple Halos were fairly stable while a couple others were flippy. Very thin, fast driver. Great glide and outstanding distance. I only dock it a star because of the lack of consistency from disc to disc. Very comparable to a Nuke or Boss. Maybe a hair less stable. If Lat64 fixes the consistency of the Halo it'll be among the best drivers on the market. Even with the consistency issues it's an outstanding flier.

I have used both an Opto and GL plastic, weights 171g and 173g

I would not say this disc is overstable.  Flight numbers closer to 13/5/-1.5/3

It seemed to be a bit nose sensitive as most very wide rimmed drivers at this speed are.

I found this more useful for long S shaped power drives.Hyzerflips to slight turn and does hyzer back fairly strong.  On flat release it will depend a lot on your nose angle power, snap and followthrough.

It is a good long range driver, fairly controlled. My only dislike is that it feels very pointy and is not the most comfortable in the hand.  I still bag it at the moment, so I like the disc.

But I almost see myself using the King more.

My second time throwing my 172 GL Halo, I nailed the basket on a 330ft hole.  As always GL plastic is amazing to look at as well as to throw.  Great disc overall with excellent distance potential.  Still learing to get consistent distance with this disc, but when you get it right it really bombs.  Turn rating of a 0 is fair enough as it really takes a good rip to have it gently swing out the the right on a RHBH shot.  Consistent end of flight fade and this disc gets where you need it to go in a hurry.

A very very long range disc that's easy to throw and control.Has a very tight s curve when thrown forearm(havent tried backhand yet) and can get as far out there as you want. As always the gold line plastic is perfect and I couldn't ask for a better long distance driver.

I used a Halo as my one and only driver for a Dynamic Discs 2 Disc challenge. This disc is really sharp both on the inside rim and outer edge and feels fast, because it is fast-- too fast and overstable for me. The one redeeming aspect of the Halo was that it has a really cool stamp, and the GL plastic always feels great.

I pretty much never had a great drive with the Halo. It was too OS for me when I threw backhand to get any distance. I had a few few decent forehand drives, but the wing is a little too thick to feel comfortable with and I had trouble controlling it. Sometimes it released early and faded too much, other times it turned too much and didn't come back as much as I needed. For big arm guys, I'm sure the Halo is an awesome bombing driver, but for my 300ft distance this disc is too much for me.

What a disc! This is one of the first Latitude 64 discs I ever owned and I rarely threw it because I didn't know much about it and I was still new to the game. My go-to drive for the last 6 months or so has been the Villain...I lost a few during the 2015 Memorial so I thought I'd give this a try(it was more available at the time). I am so glad that I did! It doesn't replace the Villain, rather compliments it well! It's not super overstable for someone that can throw 400'+ but it's also not too understable and it goes FOREVER! As a beginner, you'll see a good hearty fade at the end of the flight if thrown flat. An advanced or pro player might need  a bit more of a hyzer angle on release but will find that this thing is an absolute laser until the end of the flight when it dumps out nicely. Very versatile. The Villain and the Halo now split duties equally. I throw a 174 GL and a 169 Opto.

I bought this disc looking for something inbetween my boss and my nuke ss, wanting something just as fast, but with a straighter flight path. This thing is exactly that. As a primary sidearm thrower with moderate arm strength, this thing will fly perfectly straight for me until finally fading at the end if I throw it flat. I get the same distance as the boss, but it doesn't fade out as quickly so It is more predictable. I would definatly reccomend this disc!

I have a max weight gl halo. I got it because I found the low profile very attractive. When I throw it right I can throw it farther than anything. It's inconsistent for me though because I have big hands with fat fingers. This disc is just too shallow for me. It often releases early cause I just can't hold on to the dang thing. Big handed discers are much better off with a Boss.

I love my HALO. It is everything I wanted in an overstable disc. It feels great in my hand, and the releases are smooth. This disc flicks well. There are several holes that I need a straight line and then quite a bit of fade and this disc does that well. If you don't have a lot of arm speed I would probably not get this disc. I would look at maybe a havoc or a bolt being more understable. This disc with always finish with its normal fade and unless i give it quite a bit of anheizer I dont get any turn out of it. Great disc. I have the gold line plastic

Best disc I have ever used! The Gold plastic is for sure the way to go. Reminds me a lot of the Innova Boss but seems to have more speed. I have 2 in my bag because you can use it backhand and forehand.

Starts out overstable, turns into a bombing monster then becomes unbearably flippy. When it beats in, it loses it's high speed stability very quickly. Then the low speed stability seems to become non-existent. Have tried it in both Gold Line and Opto and it seems to be the same flight characteristics regardless. I throw Nukes over this as I feel they are more dependable run to run. Has a slight plus mold feel to the rim as well. Not my cup of tea but I know many many people who absolutely adore this disc.

Not much experience with these but my 171g Gold seems to fly very similar to my seasoned Discraft 174g ESP Surges. I really dig the speed on these but I couldn't find a place in my bag for them.
