The Fuse is one of the most dynamic midrange discs on the market. This disc is larger than the average disc in both diameter and height and can weigh up to 178 grams. The Fuse has an understable/stable flight path and can hold curves and lines with very minimal fade. This is a great disc for weaving through trees and obstacles.

Plastic: The Opto-X Chamelion Moonshine plastic is gorgeous. Very firm and slick but not slippery. Feels very durable. After multiple rounds, there are no signs of wear. I't does glow but it's pretty unimpressive compared to the glow plastic from other manufacturers.

Feel: Very similar to a Comet, but better. The rim isn't as wide as the Comet and the edges are rounded and smooth.

Flight: This disc does exactly what I want an understable mid to do. On a hyzer flip, it pops up to flat and turns slightly before landing flat. On downhill shots, I can throw the Fuse high with 50% power and get it to go Dead straight for 400 feet and land flat with next to no ground play

Summary: I've been searching for the perfect understable mid for a long time, testing mold after mold to no avail, until I tried the Fuse. If you think the Comet is too touchy, or feels weird in your hand, get a Fuse. If you love the Comet, get a Fuse. If you've never thrown a Comet, get a Fuse. If you've never thrown a disc at all, get a Fuse.

recently started throwing fuse and wish i'd been throwing it much earlier. already got an ace. pretty sure that's what i'm gonna use it for. if there's an anny line open to the pin, imma run it! besides deputy putters, this is the flippiest disc in my bag. it might be the funnest, too. so easy to flip it flat and have it cruise on an anny til it touches down. one of the glidiest discs ever, imo. (i also bag rivers and saints with 7 glide). the opto-x chameleon moonshine feels like the best plastic ever. you have to throw it to understand why i say that. the grippy, but clean release literally makes me want to throw more.

An excellent straight-to-understable midrange. The Fuse is best suited for flipping up to flat or turnover shots with almost no fade at the end. Beginners will be able to throw very straight shots, while more advanced players will carve up tunnels.

A 0 for the fade is no joke. This thing needs to be crawling in the air to start fading. I would use it in tight shots more often but honestly the lack of fade is so jarring I'm not used to it yet. Instead I use it for scramble shots that I want to hold soft anhyzer angles. Its a crazy disc that I haven't found a comparison for and will fit in someones bag because no other disc can do what it does the way it does it.
