I have a 170g purple fury. Found it out on the course without a name. Ever since it has started to slowly become a go to disc. It's the furthest flying speed 9 disc I have ever seen. Being a speed 9 makes it a disc that I can consistently get up to speed. I can throw as far as my speed 11 drivers sometimes with it.

If you're looking for a low speed understable disc, this ones a stud. My disc is in the gold line plastic and it gives it a solid feel and grip. It really feels like you have control. This disc however is not unique. This disc flies and feels the same as a westside seer.

I picked this dsic up after a tournament becuase I needed smoething a little understable. I did';t realize it but I had just picked up one of my go to discs. It has a very smooth release and has a beautiful glide. This thing hyzerflips like a dream and also results in a "Nice throw!" everytime my buddies sees that beautiful s-curve. Great disc and would reccomend for all players. Make sure to buy a purple one because purple discs fly further.

My GL Fury in an understable, Hyzerflippy, Turn-overy, Glidey, easy distance machine. You can certainly carve some nice lines with this disc, but ripped to hard or into a headwind and expect to just keep turning. If you love the Saint you will love it's less stable little brother the Fury.

Gold line 162 gram.  I'm a beginner, but I can get this thing out close to 300 without having to muscle it.  Thrown flat, it is understable and drifts right, but not a ton.  It may do so more  as it breaks in, but the gold line plastic is super durable. As a consequence, its not the easiest to hold on to, needs a firm grip to prevent early release.  This disc has the classic Latitude glide which is great on a calm day, but even a little breeze will toss this this around pretty easy especially in light weights.

If I need a drive to turn left (LHBH) then this is my absolute go to. Very easy to anti, flip from flat, and hyzer flip. Compliments the River very well since it turns more and doesn't come back much at all. This is simply a must have since it has such a unique flight. Also, the glide is amazing. I have a 169 Purple gold line.

Edit: Got a second GL at 172. Slightly more stable/straight, but still understable, than my purple one due to the weight, but still has the same great line. I actually throw this further than my first one and have hit over 400 with it, which makes it the only fairway driver that I have broken that distance with. Very happy with my first and second furys and it is the second on that is currently in my bag.

I liked the Latitude 64 River and it's high glide so much that I obtained a 174g Fury in Gold Line plastic.  The GL plastic is awesome:  feels great, grippy for throwing, looks good too.  But it's the high-glide performance of the Fury that has me raving.  The disc is understable, which is why I went for the 174g disc, and the Gold Line is a bit more understable than Opto plastic.

When thrown flat with full power, the Fury will drift right (for RHBH), as understable discs do.  When thrown firmly but not cranked down, the Fury goes more straight, and may have a touch of fade at the end if thrown high enough.  And with just a touch of hyzer flip, I'm getting dead-straight tunnel shots through wooded holes.  In the open I'm getting excellent distance without having to crank down due to the glide.  The Fury is my go-to for uphill shots.  I can get a bit of a S-curve with high throws, as well, making the Fury extremely versatile for me.

The Valkyrie is a touch faster out of the hand on straight, flat shots, and I throw it harder.  The Fury definitely wins the glide contest, and gets similar distance to the Valk though thrown with less power..  My Star Valkyrie has some predictable fade at the end, the Fury not as much unless thrown very high.  I'm bagging both discs, as they both have uses on the course.

If you like discs with more glide and needing less raw power to throw, the Fury is a great option for that speed-9 control driver/distance driver

This disc is quite possibly the best understable driver of all time.
I carry two Gold Line Furies in my bag 168g and 173g. The 168 is actually flatter and a tad more stable than my domey 173. I use the 173 when I know I need the absolute turn on it, and it flies so nicely. You can put this on a strong hyzerflip and watch it fly dead straight forever. Throw it flat and relax the power and witness a long glide with a nice "S" turn.
I find the flight to be incredibly similar to the Saint, in fact just a tad less stable than it.
I used to carry the River, but in recent times developing some more power (300-360) Ive found the fury to offer more control options to me. I actually really enjoy hyzerflipping this disc on a forehand that pops up and goes straight and finishes gently right.
My 168 really bombs, and is defintiely straigher in flight. I threw it 400 ft on a nice downhill on hole 18 at Pymatuming, planted me safely for a great eagle attempt.

If you're just starting out, this disc will offer and incredibly straight flight, great for learning form too. As you develop power you will see some more precise use out of this disc, but dont be surprised if it makes a home in your bag.

    Pro:
    Comfortable in hand
    Glides for days
    Can shape really cool shots
Powers down for a smooth flight
    Hyzerflip for awesome tunnels
    Useable at any skill/power level

    Cons:
    None, love this disc.

The GL Fury is my primary understable driver. I throw it at 8 O'clock from chest high and it goes, lifts a little and turns flat right just about forever and then dips left at the very end.It feels nice in the hand, releases cleanly. It does the job. It also rolls pretty easily, but in all cases the wind will come in to play with this disc. With a tail wind you'll see a nice hyzer flip to straight. In a headwind you'll choose a different disc.

Ok picked up a 172 Gold Line Fury and at first it was a little more stable than I expected (probably because it was 4grams heavier than my friends) and I would've put it at a 9,6,-1,2 out of the box. Been beating it against some trees (yes literally just hitting them with the disc when I'm not throwing it) and it's finally getting to the stability I want it at. Threw a hyzer flip today that flew dead straight the entire flight and there is just a slight comeback on the end of a right turning backhand shot now. Great flight and awesome glide plus I love the grip on these trilogy discs! Recommend this for anyone needing a left to right RHBH shot (lighter weight than mine if you want that flight out of the box) or for someone needing a farther hyzer flip disc for those longer tunnel shots.

Threw a friends relatively new 168 Gold Line Fury today and threw a beautiful hyzer flip on the first throw that went dead straight till it hit the ground. Can't wait to get my own and give an even better review.

I just want to add that I don't use it as a distance driver. Maybe 300 ft holes or a little more. If there is a problem with this disc it's that the wind will cause it to glide much further than you intended. That's disc golf though, man...you have to play the wind. A headwind causes a more understanble flight for almost all discs so of course it will with this one too. Throw with more hyzer and keep it low in a headwind and you will love it's flight path. Can't speak for the saint comparison because I don't have a saint....yet.

I have a max weight gold line fury. It's black and sexy as hell. It is my favorite disc for long straight shots. This baby glides and glides and glides........and glides. Hyzer flips are a piece of cake and that is how you get max d out of this baby. I use it quite a bit. This will quickly become your go to disc. Gold line is also my favorite plastic.
