The Vroc flies like a mellowed out, slightly seasoned Roc right out of the box. The concave wing on the disc gives it a nice full finger feeling that I find really comfortable. Most players will find that the Vroc flies pretty straight for the majority of its flight before gently fading at the end. I feel that between star and dx vrocs I can cover most midrange lines that I need. Pair up the Vroc with something decently over stable like a Gator or a Ra and you have a complete midrange lineup.

After beating this disc in for a year or so, it flies straight as an arrow! If thrown hard and low, it will stay straight for the entire flight path. The only way I can get a little fade at the end is to float it higher up in the air and make it stall out. It will hold any angle it is put on, and has found chains for me more than once from the fairway! Would recommend this disc to anyone just picking up disc golf, and I would expect this or similar to be in any more experienced player's bag.

Star VRoc (175g) - This was my first Roc in the Roc family. I didn't really know what to expect, but I had heard the Rocs are very versatile and somewhat stable, although this would be one of the most neutral. The flight lives up to the flight numbers and sure enough, it wasn't a disc that would turn and burn with too much power. I only have one complaint about the one I recieved that kept it from going into my bag and that was the fact that the Star plastic I recieved was super soft, possibly even softer than GStar. It was sort of weird. I couldn't really throw it with any power because it just didn't seem very solid in my hand. Forehands were even worse. Maybe someday I'll try another one of these, but for now it is on the shelf.

My favorite midrange Disc. Point and shoot. Feels great. Holds anhyzer or hyzer lines well. If you like straight shots or neutral midrange discs, this baby is smooth and for you. The Lion is very similar but seems to have a little more fade. Both are great discs but like I said, love the Vroc.
