I found a DX VROC with no name or number on it and carried it in my bag for situations where the chances of losing a disc are high. Finally, this morning I pulled it out and threw it several times and was very pleasantly surprised. On a hole where I normally throw my Buzzz, the VROC turned more than expected, faded back, and landed pin high about 10 feet right of the basket. On a shorter hole where I usually gently float my Envy downhill, I tossed the VROC on a little hyzer and it landed perfectly about 3 feet from the basket. Is the VROC this good and versatile in other more durable plastics? Innova appears to have different flight numbers for DX vs Champion or Star. Overall, a very nice useful disc.

I found this disc. Texted and called the number on the disc. Never heard back. Started throwing it in field practice and fell in love with it. It is already beat in and throws strait as an arrow. I will buy a few more of these discs. Works great when I need to get just a little further than a putter can reach. I highly recommend this disc to anyone. Especially to newer players.

I wasn't looking for a new mid mold in my bag but, I found one of these that someone else lost without a name on it. So, I'll give it a try. I throw a lot of Roc3 type discs. I like the bead and the rounded wing fits my hand well. It is very torque resistant. The glide is less than a Roc3 for me. I've been using it for a specific shot: longer than a putter, shorter than a Roc3. Not a really essential shot for my game but, it does it well. Sort of like an MD2. I could live with or without it. I do feel like it beats in slower than other DX discs have. I also find myself using it more often in wet or cold weather. DX has good grip for this. I get a good release with my Friction Gloves in very cold weather. My flight numbers are for a beat DX disc that trees and a dog have taken bites out of. I still throw it on occasion...

My DX VRoc is my go-to midrange and my favorite flavor of the Roc. Its flight is more similar to a Buzz or Mako than a Roc, and after a few months of heavy use mine started to turn when thrown at higher speeds. I can throw it on a bit of hyzer about as hard as i throw my Wraiths, it flips up & gives me a beautiful S curve.

The only negative is that this disc is AWFUL for forehands.. i got a Reactor for a similar mid that i can FH comfortably.

This disc... wow. This disc helped me kick start my disc golf career. I had trouble throwing straight and with some distance. The VRoc helps beginners because it can compensate for a lack of technique. This disc flies very well and I would recommend it to anyone looking for an innova mid range. Great disc overall. Nice job Innova.

One of my favorite midranges in all of the innova lineup. I prefer this variant over the others because this disc will easily fly 250ft and I find I dont need the extra speed of the roc3 and I enjoy the less fade over the standard roc. I am primarily at RHFH thrower and unless I couldn't quite figure it out, this is not a forehand disc, and responds much better to backhand throws. But this turned out to be a blessing as my back hand game has improved from using this disc. It's just so predictable with a light fade, so it makes your placement shots and layups a dream. It's a disc I put a lot of trust in and rely on it heavily. I wouldn't recommend this as a new players first midrange, but once you learn how to control your throws, you'll be wondering how you ever lived without it.

This disc in my opinion is very underated, and deserves a lot more credit. For one thing, this is one of the few discs you can pick up in dx plastic, and have it still fly pretty much exactly the same as the flight numbers indicate. I found this disc to have slightly more glide than the numbers indicate. This disc does not like to skip or move much on the ground, and honestly it doesnt like to move much left or right in the air either. After a few rounds this disc has seasoned into a very straight flyer. It takes tree hits well as it has held its stability after quite a bit of punishment. I used to not be a big fan of this disc because the grip is somewhere between a power grip and a fan grip for me, but after messing around with it I was able to throw it at my local course on a 400' water carry hole and park a basket. Through the air the disc didnt move left or right, just straight. Great disc!

I prefer other mid-range discs to this one.  Not good, not bad....just kind of in the middle about this one

Of the entire Roc family, this is the member I like the least. The grip, at least to me, is the least comfortable in the hand of them all. On top of that, the flight really isn't what you'd be hoping for out of a Roc either. While it may finish softer than other molds, it will almost never skip, and doesn't glide nearly as well as a traditional Roc might. I'd pretty much exclusively use this for narrow woods shots toward a slick green, but for not much else.

This is a very straight flying disc for me and I often use it when I don't really have any other line  but straight through low trees.
