UPDATED REVIEW
At first I did not like this disc, actually giving it only a three star review (which I preserved below). I think it may have been a lack of experience, or my previously multiple times broken wrist causing it to show any and all errors I made during throws (I have since corrected the issues caused by this through physical therapy). Whatever the cause, I now very much like the TL. The disc flies straight and true so long as you give it a good release, and if you really put your arm into it, you can get it out there a very long way before the fade kicks in.
I even liked the TL so much after relearning how to throw better, that I decided to try out the TL3... a disc I do not like due to the fact it turns over too easily for a "straight flying disc". The TL though is perfect. If thrown well, it easily handles the torque, does not turn over, and just rides a rail to your target.
The TL also makes a shockingly good overhand disc. I know, I know... you want that high turn, or high fade to make it flip... well, the TL doesn't flip until the last minute as it is screaming toward the ground. I can tomahawk or thumber it to about 250 feet in an arrow straight line, and about 15-20 feet above the ground, it flips belly-up and smashes into the dirt. This makes it an essential tool in my bag for short tunnel shots where I don't want to risk left / right variance.
As the disc has beat in, it has not shown any signs of more turn, but just less fade. I am sad that these are getting hard to find as this really is one of the essential tools in my bag now, and I want to get a few more.

ORIGINAL REVIEW
I really wanted to like this disc. My disc (175g Star) is quite a bit more dome-topped than the one in the images here. I don't know if the extra glide is what has made me dislike the disc, or if it's something else, but I am really not a fan.
This disc is supposed to be laser straight, but instead, mine is very undecided on which way it wants to go. If I try to throw it straight (RHBH), sometimes it turns fairly hard to the right, and other times, it takes on a massive fade to the left. After many, many throws with it, I still can't decide with any certainty which way it is going to want to go on any given throw. Any wind whatsoever makes this even worse. Part of me wants to just start driving it into trees hard to make it more under-stable so at least I will know, but that seems like a waste.
The disc does hold hyzer and an-hyzer lines relatively well, but there is still a bit of variance with the accuracy to which the disc will hold the given line. Sometimes it will dump early. Sometimes the insane glide takes over and does weird things, and sometimes the disc seems to try and correct the flight and straighten out. As previously stated, mine has a massive dome and is VERY glidey, so that probably has something to do with it.
Every time I think I might be willing to try out my TL again, I end up reaching for my Mako3. I can rely on that disc a whole lot more to go where I want it to. I really wanted to like this disc with the heritage it comes from, but I just can't get into it. I purchased mine online, so could not look at it first. I may eventually go find one in person and give it a shot, but until then, this disc has been removed from my bag.
