The Star TeeRex offers a slightly grippier, less overstable feel than Champion, while still handling high torque and wind with ease. Great for power hyzers and forehands.

I first started playing disc gold with a dx teerex I found while using a friend's discs my very first round. Since then I've bought plenty and currently own 5. I love this disc in star plastic it starts out fairly straight for me with a forward pushing fade that I feel doesn't really match the 4 fade maybe a 3 or 2.5 unless thrown high. As a ambidextrous backhand thrower that is. I've also noticed it tends to turn out as it beats in but not too much. Depending on how beat in it gets I'd say it's more of a 11,4,-1.5,3 but that's at my arm speed. Having friends who throw shorter than I do (around 430 ft on a good throw) it tends to be slightly more stable than when I throw it.

This is the single best forehand disc for long drives, if you have a good forehand shot. The very first ones are the best (proto stamp and Tee-Rex stamp). Its unfortunate these are discontinued and doesn't make a whole lot of sense.

If you can find the right run (flat top with beaded wing) you've got a beefy 11 speed that feels very comfy in the hand. If you get a run without the bead, it's also a great disc but flies like a Wraith.

The OS run of Teerex is great for FH or BH and BH flex shots. It can take a lot of snap and OAT and fade hard with big skip.

It is no longer in my bag bc I can get similar flights with my PD2. However, if you like the smaller rim, grab a Teerex.

Just recently picked up 2 preflight slightly beat in TeeRexs. I have thrown them both forehand and backhand, and i will have to say this disc has some great glide to it. Im not familiar what a brand new one does but a beat in one i like to forehand with a little hyzer and let it flip and turn right a little ways with a reliable fade at the end. Currently my farthest sidearm disc with a nice right to left tail wind. Advanced players will like it for some control backhands and fore hands on straight lines.

my 175g teerex is a disc that I have finally grown into throwing RHFH. It was too much for me at first when i was learning the FH, so I went with something slower (Champion Firebird) and then graduated up to the Teerex. If I give this disc everything and get a skip finish, its going 350'+ every time. One thing Innova wont tell you, is this is a monster at FH rollers! If you have a chance to compare this to a roadrunner in a store you will notice the edge on the Teerex is flat and wider than the roadrunner, I think that is a huge key in finding a great disc for a FH roller.  If you get the right amount of snap and the right angle at impact with the ground, this baby rolls for days. I will also throw this RHBH at a slow speed and some hyzer as a get out of jail strong left shot. Unless you come from a solid tennis or baseball background i would suggest working up to this disc for FH.

The TeeRex is basically a longer Firebird.  It is the perfect disc for long forehands that can't turn over or for spike hyzers.  It is also good for thumbers as well.  I just wish there was regular champ runs for that little extra overstability that champ plastic bring to a mold.

Great disc for dependable fade (only at the end, really a nice straight path) then once beat in will be more dependable than Destroyer (only have DX) or Wraith in my opinion.  Mine is max weight and hold up great in wind and rain.

I love this disc. I recently lost it and thought I could replace it with a wraith but I was wrong. I will probably be getting a disc similar to this one soon if not this same disc again. I loved using it for hyzer bombs and for rollers.

172g Star   The TeeRex has a somewhat square leading edge, a firm flight plate, and a dome befitting its 4 rated glide.  It does not however seem to fade as hard or as reliably as its numbers would suggest.   It is a good disk, but not great at anything in particular, although I have found that it can be used for forehand rollers and high arcing hyzer shots.  It has a forward penetrating fade that gives it some extra distance, but is not that reliable against the wind.  I think the problem that I have with it, is that it does not seem to give me any room for error.  Both the Krait and the Wraith give me better distance and are more likely to pull out of an anhyzer throw without flipping.

Got this disc to better my forehand. What I didn't expect was it to be a nice backhand disc! I throw it more backhand which amazes me. It doesn't have as much fade/overstableness to it as I expected. I can bomb this thing pretty straight and eventually get it to come back left. I'm not very good at forehand yet, but a forehand friend of mine threw it a few times and loved it. So I'm sure what everyone else says about it being the disc to learn forehand with is accurate. Fun disc, check it out.

I really don't like the TeeRex. I was hoping for a slightly more overstable Destroyer, but after a few throws it immediately became flippy for my forehand throws. Initially I just kept assuming it was me, and kept getting in trouble with this disc throw after throw. I consistently shanked it far to the left, and turned it over with almost no fade back with right hand flick throws. Thrown side by side with a new star Destroyer, the Destroyer was substantially more overstable, and performed much better for me. I like the feel of the TeeRex, it has a mostly flat top that feels like it should be a good flick disc for me, but the Orange 173g one I have isn't. Maybe I just got a bad one, but I am perfectly happy if I never have to throw this disc again.

If you're looking for a slightly more overstable destroyer, get a slightly overstable destroyer. Bottom stamped Destroyers tend to be really OS.

Even after being beaten in for a good solid year, my teerex is still very reliable. The great thing about it is it's ability to perform in nearly any wind condition. It is one of my few go-to drivers.

Not a big fan. I don't have the snap to get a good drive, but have seen them thrown far

My first disc and still my go to driver 10 years later. Now I have 4 of them, ranging from brand new to 10 years old and beat in. You can crank it for awesome distance with a nice flex shot, or use it for a huge hyzer in the wind.

Teerex is stable without being too overstable and yet it consistently finds its way back to a nice predictable fade. I wish Innova made the Teerex in champion plastic knowing it would be a bit more stable but the Star Teerex is a long distance bomber you can keep on so many lines it's not a big deal. If you are learning or developing your sidearm this is a great disc to help you develop it.

Great disc especially for sidearms. Very similar to the Xcaliber in its flight path, and beats into a very nice straight backhand disc.
