The Stud is the Studly brother of the Colt but with some added stability. This means the Stud will handle the wind better and hold flight characteristics longer. The Stud is equally at home driving, approaching or putting in windy or calm conditions. Preliminary flight numbers are 3, 3, 0, 2.

This may be the most comfortable disc I have held to date! It feels great in my hand. It is a shallower disc and mine does not have much of a dome. The DX has a nice grippy feel to it. I have been amazed at how far this disc flies. Off the tee I have thrown this as far as some of my mids at times. I bought this to be my approach disc, but I do not have the glide completely dialed in yet, and am using it primarily from the tee, and am loving it. I have been putting with it at times and it works great for that as well. If you do not like the feel of the taller discs, like a P2 or an Aviar, I highly recommend this disc!

This review is pretty simple, if you like the Colt, but want something more stable, then this is the disc you are looking for. The Stud holds up to the wind and power more than the Colt, but it can still fly a number of different lines. If you like the Colt, give this thing a try.

Ever since the XDs went out of production I have been looking for a viable replacement. I tried the Colt and the Stud and in my opinion the Stud feels and flies most similar (if not the same as) to an XD. Great for aproaches within 250 feet and it also putts well.

Also I am very satisfied with infinite discs. Their customer service is top notch. I thought this site was just a review and information site but when I saw it was actually a store I placed an order. I will be using this site instead of amazon now because I know I will be getting the exact disc I ordered and if not, the customer service is very friendly to deal with. I feel no uncertainty buying discs from infinite.

I love the stud, and I love the colt. They go great together. The stud is a just overstable enough to be great. I can use it for any type of throw andI don't have any problems with it. A very awesome disc. Get ya one!!  5 stars

The DX Stud is an amazing disc. I love my putters overstable, so I love this putter. The applications for this disc are endless. You can drive with it (I would reccomend Star plastic for more durability if that is what you want to use it for), use it as a reliable headwind upshot disc, or just make beautiful putts with it.

The fade is extremely consistent, and because the flight is so straight, there is all kinds of room for some shaping in this discs future.

Although I have used my Studs for a little driving, they have proven themselves most in the putting ring, where their straight flight allows me to dial in a consistent putt every time.

If you bad the Colt (the Stud's less reliable brother), definitely consider bagging the Stud, because it shows up to work on every shot! You should probably also bag this disc if you have ever been, or wanted to be a cowboy. That just makes sense to me.

I got the chance to get out and throw the Stud today. I definitely liked it overall, and I think it is a great addition to the Innova lineup.

I will say straight up that this disc won't really find a home in my bag for one reason--the shallow rim. I struggle throwing shallow putters. That being said, it really threw great, and I'm sure the players who don't mind shallow putters will really like this disc.

Innova advertises this disc as just a little more overstable than the Colt, and that seemed accurate to me. I never really had any issues with it turning over on me for shots off the tee. If I gave it a slight hyzer it would pop up and just hold straight for the whole flight. I think this is a very workable driving putter that people will really like. So if you had problems with the Colt turning over on you, definitely give the Stud a try!

The Stud flies like everything I had hoped for-- I am a big fan of the colt, and always thought it should have just a little more stability. The Stud is the perfect complement in terms of flight path. It will fly straight out of the hand, but instead of drifting a little to the right like the Colt does, It will slowly hook up towards a small but dependable fade.

The only thing I was disappointed with was the dominess of the Stud. I keep 1-2 XT Colt's in my bag at all times because they are very flat and fit very nicely in my hand. This feel is not present on regular domey-type putters like the Aviar, P2, or anything beaded; which is what makes me such a big fan of the Colt. With the profile of the Stud, it doesn't offer any more comfortability in my hand than a P2, which is my putting putter. I will stick to my S-P2 before I throw a Stud in the bag. If they come out with a flat Stud (XT, crossing my fingers?!), I can see the S-Line P2 coming out of my bag. Once the Stud offers the same flat feel as the Colt, I will be keeping both in my bag. But until then, the Stud will remain on the sideline.

The Stud- bigger brother to the Colt.  In my opinion, it feels pretty simliar to the Colt, it's just a little domier.  I figured this would be a good disc for driving off the tee- and for the most part it was!  I got some good distance out of it for a putter, but on some throws I would turn it over and it held the anheizer line the whole way.  That's something I didn't quite expect with a Turn 0 Fade 2.  But, when thrown a bit straighter or with a slight hyzer, it held straight and Faded just as it's flight ratings describe.  The grip feels good, although if I'm going to drive with it, I'll probably upgrade to the Star plastic edition.

I took some putts with it as well, I'd have to say it doesn't feel quite as good to me for normal putting as some other putters, but again, with it's profile I was wanting more of a driving putter out of it.  Other than turning over sometimes, it's an overall good disc!  Plus, the turnover might be something I'd learn to use.

If you like the feel of the Colt, I'd give this a shot if you need something a bit more overstable.
