I'm not sure why this disc so often is associated with beginner friendly discs. This doesn't take away from its brilliance, though. If this is/was your first disc, I would expect the fade was pretty harsh to deal with right out of the box. Other than that, if you're pretty seasoned or you're dealing with a well worn Roc, a winding tunnel shot simply doesn't fell better with any other disc. Really any shot whatsoever with this disc has never felt uncomfortable to me, and I would go a step farther to say that I could play a whole round with this disc. I have mentioned in another review that some discs feel entirely different in some plastics, but in my experience, the Roc feels similar no matter what you choose. It's the Toyota Corolla of Maple Hills, as plain as your first homecoming date and as boringly predictable as a deadbeat Uncle kind-of-but-not-really joking about asking you to borrow money. 

PROS: Reliable flight across all plastic varieties. This disc ages like Diane Keaton and fades like your favorite song.

CONS: You will be bothered boy BUZZZ fanboys proclaiming their superiority. Forgive them. They know not what they do.
