I got the one with the cool werewolf stamp. I really liked the flight before it started hitting some trees. Now it is kind of unpredictable. I took it out of my bag. I have another one so I might try it again someday. This is probably a good first driver for beginners.

This does what the leopard3 doesn't. I rate it 7/6/-2/1. It has a nice slow turn that extends well into later in its flight, with a crisp fade at the end... this is all while thrown on flat. Hyzer flips were easy. Throwing a turnover shot is also fairly easy. The disc has a weird smooth yet comfortable rim feel. I will say this isn't a disc you just rip on, it's a finesse disc used to shape shots, so if you are going to go full send, the wrong nose angle release may surprise you.

I recently bought an IT at about 160 grams. It is a great disc for beginners. I have recently gained a large amount of distance and now can throw 350-375 feet. When I throw the disc on a large amount of hyzer about 70% power it flips and never comes out, or it just rolls. It could just be the light weight, or the run, but mine is pretty much useless for me. I would recommend this disc to beginners. To me, it feels great in the hand, but just does not cover the flippy fairway spot in my bag.

My playing friend with similar distance just got us both lightweight ITs.  We used them today and he got some good flights from his.   Mine faded hard right.  So far I would compare IT to a Lat64 Diamond, which gives easy distance but I have to be very smooth with it to keep it straight, or I can use it to turn consistently gently right.  I think I will be able to use the IT for low shots, Anni's or maybe learn to throw a backhand roller finally.
Good for a true beginner or for someone who has hit a plateau early on perhaps.  Early indications are the Innova descriptors are accurate if you throw it with lots of touch or have a slower arm speed.

This disc is more understable than I expected. I tested against a brand new star leopard3 when looking for a hyzer flip disc. I.T. (no pun intended) when thrown with the same power had tendency to turnover. I was able to get the leopard3 past 300ft with medium power on a hyzer flip for fantastic tunnel shots. The same level of power usually caused the IT to become a fairly early turnover shot.  If you have weaker arm then this disc is probably more beginner friendly than a leopard3 but if you have a stronger arm then you will need a lot more angle control. I'm not really sure where it would fit in the bag since I would trust the leopard3 more and would probably look to a sidewinder or roadrunner for anny shots.

The innova IT in star plastic is wildly understable. I have to give it a somewhat low rating due to the extremely innacurate flight numbers. If a Leopard is 6/5/-2/1 in star and manages to fly like a Teebird but the IT with basically the same numbers flies like a faster Mirage then you have a problem.

I do have to say the Champion IT flies like a real disc and is actually quite nice, that being said I would not recommend the star IT to new players because it is so different from any other disc. If the only way you can get distance is to throw something this understable, you are doing yourself a disservice ignorning your form.

There is a use for the Star IT, and that is as someones first roller disc. I would argue that makes this disc not beginner friendly.

This disc is has a lot of dome which is probably what gives it the high glide. Its rim is thick. The disc holds anhyhyzer lines well, but you have to be careful about your speed and form for throwing in order to have it follow the intended flight path. It isn't very forgiving so IT might be good to help you dial in form and speed.

This disc seems VERY unpredictable when thrown at higher speeds. I think anyone with a slow arm and can keep this disc flat will find it awesome. However, I have discovered that even when thrown on a very steep hyzer, this thing will turn over hard and dive down. No matter how much angle I put on it, the IT will always flip. Dissapointed that this disc doesn't work with fast arm speeds.

This is a weird one for me. I bag a GStar Leopard3 and it flies decently stable with a nice S flight and it always slables up when it finishes. The IT, despite almost identical flight number, has a very different flight. That being said, it fills a slot in my bag, at least for the time being. I have struggled to find a fairway that I like for turnover shots and this one may fill that slot. It can be thrown higher and keep turning right, straight out of the box and never fight out of it, but never burn over. It has its place, just not where you may suspect. I can imagine this would be a good beginner premium plastic fairway driver.

I bought a few IT's when they first came out, and I was shocked at how much I enjoyed throwing them. They are hyzer flip machines straight out of the box! The IT would make a good first "distance driver" for beginners due to its understability and speed. For moderate arms it makes for an excellent weapon in the woods where a quick flip up, or hyzerflip to turn shot will move you down the fairway. Although I do not throw rollers, I can see this disc being a good starting point if you are looking to work on them. The IT is flippy, but after several throws I was surprised by how intuitive it's flight was. If a leapord never seemed to jive with you, I suggest checking this disc out for the understable fairway slot.

If you throw 7 speeds this disc is a perfect disc to fill your least stable slot. The rounded feel is extremely comfortable. This disc has more glide and more turn than the numbers suggest. Brand new out of the box this disc will have a reliable slow flip and not much finish. The first golf hole I played with the IT, I accidentally threw about 60ft too far because I underestimated just how much this disc wants to stay up.

In my opinion, this disc compares to the Westside Underworld in terms of flight, but has a much superior hand feel.

Innova hit a home run with this one. I was skeptical at first, but I firmly believe it's a superior Leopard3. This disc not only feels incredible, but it also flies like a dream. I like this disc for the 350-400 ft. range, and it definitely doesn't feel "too understable" to me for those distances. I've been able to get incredibly straight hyzer flips with this disc, but it's also versatile enough to finish right. The IT instantly clicked for me and is staying in my bag.

The Innova IT (from our experience) is a slightly more understable Leopard3. The extra glide does allow for the IT to come out of flat/anny lines for really easy distance. The best way we can describe it is a beat in Leopard3. Hope you all enjoy our breakdown!

The first time I threw this disc, I have to admit I was a little disappointed. I knew this was going to be an understable disc, but when I saw the initial throw go right and just stay there, I was a little worried. Fortunately I stuck with it, and I gotta tell you, once you get this sucker dialed in it's an absolute beauty.

For background: I have a bit of a noodle arm compounded with a collection of injuries to my knees and back. As a result I'm not able to engage my lower body as much as and I just don't get a whole lot of distance, usually maxing out around 250 feet on a good day. As a result I tend to use understable discs to get the most distance I can and I tend to focus on putting the disc where I want it to gain the most advantage on the next shot.

I will say that the IT has been a godsend in regards to accuracy. This is the disc I have most consistently been able to put pretty much where I want it. And to boot, it tends to have a pretty sexy S-curve to it when the throw is in the butter zone for power. It will definitely go right but when thrown with the right amount of power it will fade back beautifully and land pretty much on target. However, it's not the best disc in wind due to its understable nature and high glide, so it's something to keep in mind.

Overall, this is probably not a disc for more experienced or power throwers, but for beginners and lower power arms this is a disc that I think will prove beneficial. It does have a bit of a learning curve, but it's not terrible and if your experience is anything like mine you'll have it dialed in after a few throws.

I was on the fence about going as low as 2 stars for this, it is very understable even in Star plastic. I bag a GStar Leopard3 which has the name flight numbers with the exception of the glide, it's a 5 instead of 6 that the IT is. Even with the Leopard3 being somewhat beat in the IT is a lot more understable. The second time I threw the IT it turned into a roller which the Leopard3 has never done, it has turned over and dumped quickly but never made it to that roller angle. I do not have a big arm, I can get fairways out 300-325.

I will say if you're looking for something you can put on a sharp anhyzer angle and use as a forehand in a sense, you may find some value in the IT. There's a shorted dog leg right at local course, maybe 220 feet, 120 out and 100 right, I gave the IT a little height and it worked well for that shot as a lack a forehand. I'll play with this disc a little more but it likely won't be making the bag, just doesn't handle any power. In Star plastic the IT probably flies like DX plastic for Innova's other undestable fairway's.

This may be a great premium plastic disc for beginner's, it's probably more true to its flight number than any other Innova disc when new. I would give it 6/5/-3/1.

I love understable discs. I love discs that I can throw dead straight with a hyzer flip at moderate power and the Innova It, is it.

I thought the IT would just be like another Leopard, but this disc feels very different. The bottom rim is very convex giving it a bulkier, more like a midrange type feel.

For me, brand new Innova Discs right out of the box are much more overstable than the flight ratings indicate. Not the IT. In fact, I'd say the Innova It is more understable than the flight ratings indicate. I underestimated the understability of this disc for the first through holes and ended up far right of where I anticipated due to the significant high speed turn. My tester IT was even at Max weight, and I typically prefer drivers in the 160's.

After getting used to the flight of the IT, and learning the hyzer angle and power I need to throw it at to get that perfectly straight flight path I really like this disc. In many ways it has the flight of a midrange, but I can get the same distance throwing with much less power. This disc is really glidey.

I've tried just about every low speed fairway driver on the market, and the IT is actually different. If you're looking for a dead straight disc, I highly recommend trying the Innova IT.
