The Innova Lynx is an understable, glide-focused fairway driver formerly released as the IT. The mold remains the same, but the name has been updated for better clarity and searchability. With the original Lynx mold no longer in production, the name has been reassigned to this glide-centric fairway driver.

While the flight itself has not changed, the turn rating has been adjusted from -2 to -3 to better reflect its true high-speed turn. The Lynx delivers easy distance with significant glide and smooth turnover potential. Developing players can achieve full flights without high arm speed, while moderate to faster arms will find it useful for standstills, low ceilings, technical woods lines, powered-down control shots, and rollers. The Lynx is said to fly like a faster Fox.

I was going to rush to review this one as I was a fan right out of the box but decided to live with this disc a while and see what it did for me.

I am getting better.  Not good, just better.  I dont think of myself as a beginner any more but have a long way to go to reach my goal of being a 900 rated player (currently 811).

Okay credentials established, I freaking hate that I got all hot to trot on fancy discs, fancy plastic and left good ol reliable Innova in the dust.  I bought a couple of these in each of the plastics.  I am a huge fan of the disc itself.  Its EXACTLY as advertised.  I find its turn might be -2.5 but I'm splitting hairs at that.

What gets me is this disc in DX.  It just does.  It does everything I've asked it to do.  Its been a wonderful disc to learn lines on, learn angles on, and generally figure out what I'm doing.  Also as said on Innovas website, a less expereinced arm can weave through the woods and get big distance.  More than once lately, I've cracked 300 with my pink DX IT and I genuinley find it moving up closer to the top of my bag.  There are so few HUGE open fairways around me, its generally wonderful to have a disc I trust to pop 250 feet into the woods and stay where I need it to go.

Beginners and advanced will love this one.  I've given away quite a few to friends to turn them on to this much more approachable and wonderfully updated version of the Leopard.
