    GStar Details

GStar is a fantastic ultra premium plastic blend by Innova. The plastic offers a unique metallic shine that not only looks good, but it is also incredibly grippy and flexible (you can literally fold a GStar disc). This plastic blend is especially recommended for playing disc golf when it's cold outside.

The G-Star Invictus is a very good option for that overstable control/distance driver slot in your bag.  For an overstable disc, it has decent glide which will help get down the fairway quickly before the fade kicks in.  It is very comfortable with both backhand and forehand grips.  I was pleasantly suprised with the workability of the Invictus and think it can be more than just an overstable meathook.

Super overstable. As an intermediate player its hard to get this disc to go more than 300ft without spiking. I keep it in my bag as a utility but most of the time I grab a destroyer instead.

I still consider myself a novice at the game, only about 4 months into it. I'm a fan of GStar plastic (seems like I'm one of the few) for both durability and price point.   know typically discs in GStar plastic are less stable. I find this to fly pretty straight and have a reliable fade, but nothing compared to my Firebird fade. I tend to use this as my go to driver for distance if throws right (nose down flat pull) I'm around 300-350 ft depends on day. I use an Orc for heavier fade shots and Firebird on shorter heavier fade shots.
