This disc is great for hyzer shots, flies like a beefy PD. I relied on this disc for 200-300ft with a fade at the end. Once you learn this disc it can be your most accurate shot.

I have a champion invictus that is super overstable. Definitely more overstable than any firebird I own - it's on the level with FAF firebirds. What makes this disc interesting is that it's still kind of glidey because it has some dome. It basically dives left out of the hand and then gives a big ole skip. I like that it feels similar in the hand to an Orc or a PD but is beefy like a firebird.

Before trying this disc I had read other reviews calling this a longer, faster firebird. While this disc is overstable, I would not use it as a faster firebird. In my experience this disc flies straighter longer than a firebird before having a strong overstable finish. The invictus makes a great windy day control driver, but does not fill the same utility disc role that firebirds or scepters fill.

This disc is fantastic, but not really what I was expecting. I was expecting something like a PD or Anax, but this is much more like a beefy thunderbird. I would consider this a "throwing firebird." Great for shots you have to pump flat and know won't get flexy, screaming power hyzers, and flexing forehands. Great disc, but probably wouldn't recommend anything except a utility disc unless you're very comfortable throwing stable discs.

I have thrown both C-Line and S-Lines. The C-Line was BEEF CITY with kind of a sharp underside.

The S-Line tended to hold the line longer with a reliable fade. Softer underside.

Great for both flick and back hands, handles tourqe well.
