The XT Invader blends a tacky, rubber-infused feel with added durability over baseline plastics. It maintains a flat top and point-and-shoot flight, perfect for touchy approaches and consistent putting.

    XT Details

Innova's XT material is a midgrade plastic that feels similar to DX, but that is substantially more durable. This is a tough grippy blend that is popular for putters and midrange discs.

My Flight Ratings: 3/3/0/1 Very Beginner Friendly Throwing Distance: 250 Straight Score: Ultra Straight

I use this disc as my putting putter as well as my driving putter. I have two XT invaders as well as a star invader.

For putting, I love the flat top and bead on it. I have kind of small hands so the flat top is money but it doesn't lack glide! The bead gives it a nice comfortable straight to slightly overstable flight for putts.

For throwing, it is very good for driving as well as touchy upshots. My recommendation on this disc is to get a luster champion or halo star/nexus for driving (probably around 250 - 300 feet if you have the speed for it), star for upshots and XT for putting. I've chosen these because for my arm speed (around 375-400 on my distance drivers) Star plastic can turn over if you aren't careful. Luster and Halo star will give you the stability to keep it from turning over completely. XT has plenty of grip for grabbing chains but is tough enough to avoid getting destroyed after just a few putts (DX will get beat up super quick).
