XT Details

Innova's XT material is a midgrade plastic that feels similar to DX, but that is substantially more durable. This is a tough grippy blend that is popular for putters and midrange discs.

Contrary to popular belief, they do make the Innova archangel in plastics other than DX!

One of my first discs was a yellow DX archangel. For a long time it was my longest driver and I absolutely loved it.

Once I started working out all the DX plastic that saw too many trees I spent a lot of time looking for a replacement to my archangel. Initially, I thought I couldn't get one in anything other than DX, so I went up and down in disc speed and inside and outside Innova and started trying all sorts of understable fairways. I tried the Westside underworld, Lat64 Diamond, Lat64 Jade, roadrunner, sidewinder, etc. Nothing really clicked with me. Either they didn't feel right or didn't give me the same results I was getting.

Then I found my beloved archangel in XT. Flies almost exactly like how my DX did when it was new without the worry that it'll beat into a useless roller in no time.

Flight numbers, I'd rate mine just a bit more stable than rated. I don't often send these sailing hard to the right (RHBH) and they will fade just a bit at the end of the flight before landing.
