I would describe myself as a beginner-intermediate level player.  My son, a semi-pro, has recommended I use a 7 max speed (I have chicken arms).  In general, he has been right (my Leopard is my go-to disc).  However, the Archangel has been the exception.  At the beginning of the season, I generally cannot throw this disc much further than my Leopard.  However, as the season progresses along with my strength, this disc really starts to fly and I start to feel like I can actually play disc golf.  A very affordable disc, which is fortunate.  The DX plastic definitely gets beat up.  The disc continues to fly well but you do lose that nice small fade at the end.  Thank goodness it is cheap -- I keep at least 2-3 in my bag.  I use a light weight (150) which works well with my speed but it does mean the wind can definitely mess with the flight.  I am thinking of moving up weight to see if that works better.

At a normal weight these discs can be great for beginners; however, where this disc really shines is getting one around 148 grams and using it as the ultimate turnover disc! Every hole I play by myself and sometimes with friends i throw one backhand and one forehand and with this disc I can get the same lines as throwing the other throw with a stable to overstable disc. It has made this game even more fun and added a new fun challenge to every tee off.
