Luster C-Blend Details

Luster C-Blend is the same durability and make up as C-Blend Plastic (comparable to Innova Champion), but the Luster plastic has a shimmer to it. This makes the plastic not only durable and long-lasting, but also adds more cosmetic appeal with the extra glimmer. Some players feel like Luster adds just a touch more stability to the disc, and is more firm than the traditional C-Blend.

My Flight Ratings: 5/4/0.5/1 Very Beginner Friendly Throwing Distance: N/A Straight Score: N/A

The Ra is a solid mid-range - especially for a beginner - but unfortunately the flight numbers are not even close to accurate. I have a Luster C-blend which should be at least as stable as the assigned numbers, and yet the disc will easily turn over with a little torque and with even moderate power it mostly finishes straight with a minor finish. No-where close to a 2.5 fade - maybe a 1. The Ra flies a lot like a Buzz on backhand just with a different handfeel. If you wish the Buzz had a bead this may be the disc for you. Note that even though it looks and feels like you can forehand this disc it's not flick-friendly at all. It doesn't hold up to any torque - which makes it great for beginners, but not intermediate players looking for an overstable midrange.
