The Centurion can and should be a stable in every players bag, regardless of skill.

The Centurion features a moderate dome, microbead, and a shallow but still comfortable rim for all hand sizes.

This disc will do whatever you tell it to do. Throw it with a decent amount of anhyzer and watch it hold that line for nearly the entire flight. Throw it flat and watch it glide dead straight with a gentle fade. Throw it with some hyzer and watch it flip to flat and finish with a noticeable fade.

The flight characteristics of this disc varies between plastics, but in terms on stability I would rank them as follows (Most Stable -> Least Stable)

    Metal Flake C-Blend Glow > Any S-Blend Variety > I-Blend > D-Blend Glow

I have wanted to try out a Centurion for awhile now. The biggest issue was I couldn't find them in any plastic other than I-Blend and since I play heavily wooded courses I wanted a premium plastic. This year they released Andrew Marwede's swirly S-Blend Centurions and I made sure I grabbed a couple.

In the past I've thrown FDs and Leopard3s in the spot. The Centurion fits right in between the 2 in terms of stability and feel. I personally like the Centurion the most as it's the flattest mold of the 3.

The Marwede edition of the Centurion is pretty accurate to the flight numbers and makes a great hyper flip disc in the woods. I use to throw Nightstrikes 1s and the Centurion fills the same role at a fraction of the cost.

The feel and flight are exceptional and deserve a 5 out of 5 rating. The reason I gave the Centurion a 4 out of 5 was the Swirly S-Blend plastic hasn't held up very well and looks like I've thrown it for 2-3 months, not 2-3 rounds.

The centurion is slowly revolutionizing my fairway driver lineup. For a while I only had a gazelle, a teebird, and a leopard 3 in my bag. I completely fell in love with the centurion though.

Feel: The centurion has a simple feel, the wing is basically a triangle with a sort of rounded edge. The top is nice a neutral, not board flat, but not domey, although probably closer to flat than to dome. The rim is a great size, fits very comfortably in my forehand and backhand grips.

Flight: The centurion is one of those discs whose flight sort of evolves as you throw it. When I first got it it was very straight, like my teebird, so I didn't throw it a whole lot. However as I worked it in a little more it began to get a little flippier, to the point where it is now somewhere in between my leopard 3 and my teebird. Which honestly is a flight spot I didn't even know I needed. The centurion is really all around a great fairway, it is super malleable. You can turn it over, you can get touchy in the woods and you can even throw it on hyzer.
