I have to start off by saying that the stamp and feel of this disc are next-level. The warrior artwork is sick and the swirly s-blend plastic is so soft yet grippy. Now aside from the stuff on the surface, how does it fly? The answer is: extremely well.

The Latitude 64 Explorer is my go-to driver whenever I need a straight and long drive. I throw it anywhere from 290-360 feet and it can hold a straight line the whole way. The Aztec behaves the same way, except it goes about 30 feet further. The wider rim helps it to rip through the air like a distance driver, but the blunter nose gives it great control. I get a little turn and a medium fade and it is a great disc to watch fly. I have already ordered another one in the I-blend plastic and I look forward to trying it out as well. It is what I always wanted my Thunderbird and Anax to be and is my go-to control driver when I need straight line distance.

Love this disc. Absolutely beautiful stamp, and it's great for forehands and backhands.

I got one of the max weight Green Swirly S-blend runs with the big warrior stamp on it. I got it hoping it would be a hyzer-flip to straight woods style driver, a gap I've filled this winter with a beat up G-Star thunderbird but am looking to replace before the G-Star becomes to flexy for my liking in the warm weather. I like the Aztec but am still learning to love it. I don't know if it's just my run or all Aztecs but it's flippier than I was expecting and that I would like it to be. Instead of hyzer flip to straight its hyzer flip to some turn, making it less effective for tunnel shots like I had hoped but still a great shot shaper and woods disc. However, the upside to it being flippier than expected... been throwing some money rollers with it.

This is a must bag driver. It looks and feels great. It has enough stability to put good power on it and it just goes straight for days with great glide. I look forward to trying it different plastics.

Awesome disc, feels so good in the hand and it just goes if you release it right. Instantly in the bag. Great for long straight drives. Comfortable for forehand as well. Superb disc

    Swirly S blend

I have two of these, both marked 168g. One is a wall hanger, the stamp on the Aztec is awesome. The grip and feel is amazing on this run of s blend.

This mold reminds me of the SL. Very similar if not same. Easy to throw, true to numbers. Great forehand and backhand. This should be very approachable as far as distance drivers.

I would recommend this to a player of any skill level.

The only disc I've bought multiples of as a beginner. I can comfortably say that any off target throws are from user error rather than the disc. This thing flies on the exact line you put it on, and really takes angle control well. Not too much turn with a comfortable amount of fade. It's the only distance driver in my bag, and as a beginner I don't think I'll need another one for a hot minute.

I have two metal flake glow Aztecs that I use all the time! Before I had the Aztecs I was using the Exodus for everything but was having issues with flipping them when I needed longer distance. The Aztec is the perfect club up from the Exodus and has become a workhorse for me.

Wind: Can handle some wind but not stable enough for a strong headwind.

Distance: These discs fly far! Plenty of glide keeps these discs in the air for a long time.

Stability: Thrown hard and flat it will have moderate turn and have a long slow fade.

    Cant recommed this disc enough!

    Disc: Aztec - Swirly S-Blend 172g

Feel: The Aztec mold feels a bit blunt and fills the hand in a way that makes it unique among discs of similar speed. Slight dome makes it pretty comfortable to throw with either Backhand or Forehand grips. Swirly S-Blend plastic (blue/light blue) looks great and feels pretty soft with a smooth shoulder to the top of the flight plate. The underside of the rim is slightly concave but not flat.

Flight: Either the Aztec has a power level threshold or is very nose angle sensitive. It took off turning in the high speed flight and barely fought back to the line of release for me when throwing it like a distance driver. Headwinds will exaggerate this to a large degree, as it was difficult to get the Aztec to go where it was expected.

Impressions/Comparisons: I expected a bit more overstability out of the Aztec, and it turned out it was more straight stable. Felt like there is a power level threshold to keeping the disc overstable as a hybrid between the fairway and distance driver speed discs. Comparable flight to a Innova Valkyrie and Millennium Orion LS, but more stability than an Infinite Discs Sphinx. Slightly less distance and stability than the popular Innova Wraith. I'll continue to throw the Aztec to see if it is better suited for Fairway driver speed throws, but I have those spots in my bag mostly sorted already.

over all I am liking this disc alot, the S blend seems to flip and s a little more than the I blend and G blend molds..  this disc in I blend just goes straight with a lot of glide behind it to fade lightly at the end more so that the S blend..  S blend though feels amazing, its a little more gripy of a plastic for me and I like that with winter coming soon.  I did notice though if you snap the S plastic more so it while sometimes flip more so and doesn't always fade back at the end.. Which is why I'm keeping one of each in my back now.. can't go wrong with Infinite discs it appears.. loving all molds so far

Actual Plastic is the Metal Flake Glow C-Blend 175g

I am in love with the effortless line hitting ability of this disc. It flies very neutral at around 70-80% arm speed for me (Max real life distance is 400-420'). Just today I I smashed the cage on a 348' hole on a highly thrown turnover shot with this disc. It is really forgiving in its flight. I usually use it for dead straight gap hitting scenarios or those long slow turn overs. The disc feels great in the hand. Being a speed 10, the rim is not over bearing. I feel like most hand sizes will find comfort in throwing this disc. It would be a wonderful control driver for a beginner-ish player to jump into and a powerful tool for more advanced to pro players looking to expand on their turnover game.
