This disc is perfect for my arm speed. I have some faster drivers than the Aztec, but this one I can throw the furthest. It turns quite a bit when given decent power. Throwing just above level and flat will end in a nice flex shot that I can get to a consistant 380ft with my pb at just over 400ft. Splatter-S is a great plastic. It offers great grip with a slightly soft tacky feel. It is also quite durable. I have done a bit of landscaping without any major gashes or warpage.

LHFH dominant player. This is my go-to distance driver. I have higher speed discs but they are more overstable so I don't get the same flight. Even with my medium-speed arm I can push it close to 400ft on flat ground. It is also very workable, always holds whatever line I put it on with a very gentle fade at the end. I have only thrown it in Splatter S (kind of tough to find it in that plastic, I got mine from Rare Air Discs, it comes with thier custom stamp, which is pretty cool), mainly because I never felt the need to get a second one. If you're looking for a relatively straight flyer you don't need a PDGA arm to make work, this is your disc.

This disc is the real deal - I started trying to throw 12 speed discs thinking I would have to master them to get my longest throw, until I found the Splatter Aztec. When I need to go for a controlled drive and don't want to sacrifice distance, I reach for this instead. Highly recommended even for noodle arms

The Aztec is the perfect controllable distance driver for my arm speed ( I throw this disc 340-380 feet ). I like to throw baby hyzerflips for my main tee shot, and these are perfect for that. The splatter S-blend feels nice and what you'd expect out of a grippier premium plastic (star, esp, etc.). I feel comfortable throwing this on tunnel shots, because when thrown nose down with a slight hyzer with normal height (< 10 feet), I get about 5-8 feet of turn to the right and maybe 10-25 feet of fade and ground play at the end. I find it very easy to control and still get good distance.

Having thrown this disc in every plastic, this my favorite mold of all time.

This is an OOP Innova mold (SL or Starfire-L) that Innova has since picked up and brought back a truly fantastic control driver. The Aztec features a moderate dome, a comfortable depth for the hand, and a small microbead, which can an issue as the flashing is sometimes present. The flight numbers are accurate however this mold is particular easy to throw for it being a 10-speed. With the variety of plastics and weights Infinite offers with this disc, it can fill the entire spectrum of control drivers in your bag.

Are you looking for a great hyzerflip discs? Try the older runs of I-Blend (Run 1) or the Splatter S-Blend in a lighter weight (My personal favorite). Are you looking for something that will flip to flat and have a gradual fade at the end of the flight? Try the Splatter S-Blend. Are you looking for a straight flyer that you can have the confidence will always fade? Try the Metal Flake C-Blend Glow. Are you looking for a max distance bomber? Try the latest I-Blend (Run 5) and don't worry, the flight numbers stamped on that run are incorrect.

This disc does it all and I can't recommend it enough.

The Aztec is a smooth control driver that is quite versatile. I use a Swirly S Blend, Splatter, I-blend, and a Glow C-blend. Each is a little different but all share the general characteristic of being a smooth, flip to flat driver.

Swirly and Glow: These are the flatter ones I have used. I prefer these for any flip up forehand distance shots or long uphill drives. Really shines as a hyzer-flip controlled distance driver!
I-blend: Mine is almost pop top like, with a slight heartbeat to it. It glides for days and shows the 2 fade better then the flat Swirly or Splatter blends.
Splatter: The middle child of the above plastics, some dome to it but flexible, allowing for a fairly neutral flight. Still has more turn to it than the numbers show, but has great glide when you find that consistent release angle.

I would recommend this disc toward beginners after a few months of play as something they can grow into. It is a fun disc to throw and something I rely on for big distance throws.

The Aztec is a great disc.  For me it is sort of in between a fairway and a distance driver.  You get the control of a fairway, but can still get close to the distance of a distance driver.  To me the Aztec flies a little bit more understable than the flight numbers say.  I would give it a -2 turn and a 1 fade.  I can hyzer flip the Aztec and still have it turn to the right for a ways before it gently finishes back to the left.  If you are a newer player and are ready to start moving onto more of a distance driver I would highly recommend giving the Aztec a try.

Everyday disc for me.  I love the stability on this disc and the speed fits my arm speed as I have a tough time throwing anything over 12 speed.  All the other reviews are in line with my thoughts on this disc.
