I did field work with this along with a dozen other drivers, and for the disc I have at least, the numbers seem about right (you never know for sure with the X-outs) -- particularly compared to its siblings the Centurion and Dynasty (which have the same glide/turn/fade numbers as the Aztec, just slower speeds). The 10 speed and 2 fade will probably make it too overstable for beginners; and it didn't seem to have quite a -1 Turn for me, but in general, the Aztec is a really good disc: It gives a great flight and compares well with others with similar flight numbers. I haven't had discs in I-blend plastic for as long as I've had some in Star- or Champion-type blends, so I can't say as definitively how durable this grade is, but so far my I-blend discs have been holding up well -- and certainly better than the base grades (thankfully I haven't been smacking them into trees and such), and it has a good, grippy feel and releases cleanly. I like the bright orange color of my disc as it should help finding it in the rough (I've got some good discs in darker colors that have been harder to locate).

I bag this disc, but 4 stars is for flight ratings on here. This is a solid flippy 10-speed driver for hyzer flips and turnover shots. If you are buying an I-blend X-out, it will fly truer to numbers I have posted.

I'm a predominantly LHBH thrower of intermediate skill.

I loved this disc immediately. I was looking for something a little quicker than my go-to driver (Axiom Insanity), and with maybe a little more control. The Aztec ticks those boxes in a big way. It's hard to know how beginner-friendly it is since my first throws with it were paired with a significant adjustment/improvement to my walk-up form, but I suspect it's a pretty point-and-shoot disc for anyone who can give it the spin it needs.

This disc has added not only a significant length to my drives, but an unbelievable amount of precision. I'm trusting myself to hit gaps I previously would not have considered, and I'm hitting them almost without fail. My only quibble (I can't even call it a complaint with the results I've gotten) is that I wish it were a little easier to put more anhyzer flex on it. It does feel a little more stable than the numbers suggest. That being said, I have had some success in accounting and adjusting for the resistance to turning over. Whatever your thoughts about the stability, if you put this disc on a line it WILL hold it. This thing SAILS in the open and navigates tight corridors, too.

Until now the Insanity has been the most reliable, consistent, and best-performing disc in my bag. I almost feel guilty, but I think I have a new go-to with the Aztec. All I can really say to convey the feeling of throwing it is that it just seems to hit my sweet spot.

I took it to the field I usually do field work in, typically I can't throw it past the "endzone" to the parking lot, each time I threw it was going into the parking lot ~ 40 feet past the "endzone". The disc will glide for days and has a beautiful shape to its flight, I was really impressed with throwing it flat and watching it slowly turn over then finish back to the left on a RHBH throw. The Aztec is going to be a staple in my bag.

Nice disc for both forehand and backhand. It is my go to driver for forehands where I want some flex and then a finish.
