I picked this disc up in a tournament player's pack, and I was actually pretty excited to throw it thinking it'd be a straight flyer out of the box.  I was wrong about that, but not in a bad way.  Mine is a 177g, so pretty beefy, and it flies like a new chariot in my opinion.  Holds a line, fades gentle at the end.  The biggest surprise with this disc was the amount of glide I found.  It refuses to settle down and glides forever until it simply runs into something.  I'll keep playing with this disc and find a spot in my bag for it.  I usually throw Womabt3 for flat lidey shots, and this disc may become my go-to for long hyzers with gentle fade.

Once I can figure out the distance, this may become a workhorse in my bag

I love this disc but it did take some time throwing it to really figure it out, and it does change based on the plastic like most discs, but the plastic difference was notable with the Anubis. I expected it to be flippy, or dead straight fresh out the box, and i was surprised with the stability of it brand new. As I kept throwing it I realized it is incredible on hard thrown hyzers, for me it does not flip all the way up, it just glides and continues to push left, which is a very desirable flight for a mid range. The I bend will beat in quicker and become flippier pretty quick, but that is its flight for now for me. Now that I've thrown it and realized the mild stability of it the Anubis is a staple in my bag now.

I tested this out together with a Chariot and a few other stable mids that are favorites in my bag for comparison. I found that both of these midranges flew well, but seemed to lag behind my other 5-glide mids & approach discs, so I give them a 4 glide instead of the 5. However, the Chariot more often than not out distanced the Anubis, though with more fade at the end as the flight numbers would suggest. The Anubis generally stayed straighter with its flight and finish, except at times into the wind, when it might veer off right. The Chariot and Anubis both had a bit of flashing underneath (more pronounced on the Anubis) making their release a bit rough initially, but I've been wearing that down. The numbers on the Anubis match those of the Mako3, but I thought the Chariot actually looked/felt more like the Mako 3 (just a tad more stable). I do like the I-Blend plastic of these discs: It feels good, releases cleanly, and appears to be holding up well (I've had other I-blend discs for a year now and they've done well so far).

A true neutral midrange, this is the disc that you'll reach for again and again because it will really hold whatever line you put it on. I found this to be of the most use in the woods when looking to hit those dead-straight shots that need to carry down the fairway, but discing up to a fairway would risk overshooting the pin. I also like the feel in the hand for this disc, the rim has a sharper edge to it and feels a bit more like a driver than most discs in this speed range do.

This review is for a 180g I-Blend Anubis.

This disc is as true flying as it gets. If you release the disc flat - no matter how much power you put on it - it flies straight with no desirable turn or fade. It you release on a hyzer or anhyzer it would hold those angles until it lands.

The I-Blend plastic is flexible and grippy. It has decent durability and has survived numerous trees, branches, and ground impacts with no chunking and only minor scratches.

This is a great disc for a beginner or more advanced player as it will fly true to whatever you give it.

I picked up an Anubis a few weeks ago, intending for it to be a very understable mid-range, and boy was I wrong. The Anubis is one of my favorite discs that I have thrown, it handles power much better than the closest thing to it, a Mako3, and I have put it on any line I want, and it won't deviate from the said line. It has a great amount of glide as well, so once you put it in the air, it's staying for a good long while. This disc is great for a beginner player, and I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a midrange that just hold the line you put it on.

Similar to a Mako3 or MD, the Anubis is a straight flier.  Great for learning your angles for backhand throws.  You can turn it over, throw it flat, or put it on hyzer for a little bit of a standup.  I keep a D-Blend in my bag thats really beat in for hyzer flips that need to move right after standing up.  Such a great mold.

    C-Blends are a bit more stable than the I-Blend & D-Blend.

This is an awesome mid. I don't have the strongest back hand so I was looking for a slower disc I could throw straight. This disc is great. I holds the line you put it on. It is a point and shoot kind of disc. I would recommend this disc to any level player.

I bought this disc for my son, but I of course tested it out.  Sort of feels like a toy.  Super understable if thrown with any power.  In all fairness, I bout it in 155g for my son - perhaps a normal 170+g disc would have held up better.  But I still can't help thinking I should have gotten him a Warship or a Mako3 instead.  This was a bust for me.

Although I've been throwing casually for many years, it was only recently that I started trying anything other than Innova DX discs. It all started with the Anubis in I-Blend. A freind suggested a trade (he had two) for a disc I wasn't using to broaden my horizons. I took the black pill. (Anubis is so cool in black!)  ....Wow! I love this disc! For me, the numbers are about right, which isn't always the case as I don't have that great of an arm anymore. So, thanks Infinite, great plastic and disc; I'm hooked.

This disc just screams "Small diameter MD." It is a quintessential midrange that everyone can pick up. It helps you to teach yourself angle control and speed control. The only reason I don't bag one anymore is because I decided I love the bulky feel of the MD a lot more, at least for midrange shots. Overall, most people would definitely enjoy learning with an Anubis.

Ah yes, the Anubis. What a fantastic disc! This is the mid range I use for super straight mid-range shots.  It can handle a good bit of torque before it starts to turnover. This flight path is so hard to find for all the disc types but I've finally found it with the Anubis. However, if wind is involved, you'll most likely have to add a bit of hyzer angle to your throw to get a straight flight. Also, I feel the Anubis is very comfortable in the hand. This gives me the confidence to throw great shots.

    Plastic: Glow C-Blend

Run 6 is the first time the Anubis has been made in this plastic. The plastic feels great. Very grippy and quite gummy. I was hoping for a stiffer feel but alas, this run is not. The dome is pretty close to flat which contrasts against the new I-Blend and C-Blend runs. Out of these three plastics, the Glow C-Blend is the least stable. My flight numbers: 5 | 5 | -1 | 0

    Plastic: I-Blend

Run 7 is very similar to Run 4. Lots of dome and a very straight flight. The feel is great for such a cheap plastic. This and the C-Blend fly very similarly. The difference is that the I-Blend will beat in quicker. My flight numbers: 5 | 5 | 0 | 0

    Plastic: C-Blend

Run 9 is a bit stiffer and way more domey than Run 3. Stiff and domey is my preferred combo but I know that isn't a popular opinion. Like I said, the C-Blend flies similar to the I-Blend but it will keep its stability.  My flight numbers: 5 | 5 | 0 | 0

This is absolutely one of my favorite discs. I love the stamp, and love the feel of the I-blend plastic. Aside from the aesthetics of the disc, it has absolutely enhanced my game as well. I'm a bit on the newer side to disc golf, and before buying this disc was using only mids from my starter set. Adding this disc to my game completely changed my game though. When I throw the correctly and with the right arm speed, it flies perfectly straight. This has given me a lot more faith in my mid-range game, and has helped me to make shots I never would have before. Previously, using my mids was just a complete crapshoot, but just the other day I was able to toss a perfect shot from about 75' out, and hit directly on the base of the pole for a layup putt. These are shots I never would have been able to make before, but the straight and reliable path of the Anubis is helping me to make this happen and has significantly enhanced my game. I can't recommend this disc more!

This disc is NEUTRAL. If it does get any "turn", it SLIDES/DRIFTS slightly, not turns (Buzzz has a similar characteristic). I've found this disc never errs far off line on any angle, it's very comfortable in the hand, and I can add a ton of power without it seeming to turn in reaction. The only thing that seems to make it drift over slightly it a left to right wind, or a strong enough wind.

It's like a gatekeeper, with less fade. It's like a mako (OG), or a mako3 with less S. It's a buzzz with every so slightly less stability and more workability.

The I-blend started off more stable than my C-blend.  C-blend has great grip and some flexibility but not too much.I'm curious to see if the I-blend beats in.

I want to record a review throwing this on different lines, this is an incredible disc. Just the right amount of glide.

Note: I haven't really forehanded this disc yet. Will test this as well.

Every once in a while I take a disc in my bag and have a field test shoot out with other similar discs I have on my shelf. So I took my Buzzz SS out and took an Anubis and a Tursas. I also took a few fairway drivers that were 6-8 speed out to compare as well.

This disc out drove everything else I had and did it with a VERY predictable flight every time. I am not a huge arm, I'd been primarily driving with Valkyries or Mantis'. I've now played three rounds since the field test and I've thrown the Anubis off the tee with pretty good results for probably 85% of my first drives. This disc is going to stick in the bag in my midrange understable slot for awhile. If you need a dependable understable mid range, this is one to consider.

I have used a Buzzz as my go to Mid range for over 12 years. I started trying out a few other Mid range disc for driving off the tee. Picked up Anubis and played 36 holes ( 2 different Courses) of technical wooded low ceiling drives. Oh my I found something that works better than my Buzzz for me. Still love the Buzzz but I nailed the down a solid straight great finishing disc. I hope you try one and see for yourself. It has been added to my bag fitting right next to Esp Buzzz and Esp XL. The I plastic has a great feel, easy to grip and control.

Played my first round with the Anubis today and absolutely loved it. The brand new I-blend stood up to power without turning, and held a line beautifully. Just seems to want to hold your angle of release throughout the flight. Holds annys out of your hand to the ground, and holds straight with just a touch of fade. Found myself throwing this on just about every hole today.

When the Innova Coyote went OOP, I was disappointed. But the Anubis is almost the same mold as the Coyote, and flies extremely well:  straight, with a touch of fade unless thrown with power, and straight-to-slightly-understable if thrown with power.  Like the Coyote (and in some ways like the MVP Axis), the Anubis is a laser-beam straight approach disc when thrown for accuracy over distance.  I'm glad Infinite was able to add this mold to its awesome lineup.

Great disc for all arm speeds.  For beginners, it's a great training tool.  For advanced players, this disc has the perfect amount of turn and feels great in the hand.  I find my self using it for hyzer-flips and big backhand annies that need to start flat and work right.

I'm fairly sure this disc is based off the old Innova Coyote, but in better plastic that gives it a touch more stability.

Not much more to say really.  It's not a disc that you're going to get a ton of fade out of, but it is great for learning/hitting those angles.  Perfect mid for woods golf.

This is the absolute straightest disc I own when it comes to throwing a disc that doesn't have a huge varying flight like and "s" flight. I would compare it to a Mako3, but with a little more dome. I prefer the the Anubis when it comes to grip and feel over the Mako3, but both have a spot in my bag. The Anubis is just a smidge more stable than the Mako3 is, and I feel like it handles wind better without getting squirrely. It's a good disc to check form, and for the advanced power level player it will fly extremely straight. You do need to have good form just like with any other neutral disc, and if you roll your wrist it will turn and burn. On that note though, if you want it to hold a line, it will do that. Throw it with hyzer, and it will have a smooth hyzer line possibly flipping up a bit. Thrown flat will go straight for days. Thrown with an anhyzer when given a bit of height will hold a nice anny line. Now that I've thrown it a while I lean on this disc a LOT through the past few tournaments. With a 5-10mph headwind it will hold and have a slow turnover to the right, and it will not turn and burn like other neutral discs I've thrown. The Anubis and the chariot are replacing the buzzz in my bag. Both of the Anubis I own are 180g

I think the Anubis is one of those discs that requires really good form to like (very similar to a Mako3, but way domier). I can say that the Anubis revealed some OAT in my form and it is a useful training tool to remove that. What I didn't like about the Anubis is that it turns and fades for me. It doesn't really fly straight. I played a 1 disc round with it recently and I did ok. It will stay on the line you put it on if it's thrown smoothly. It doesn't handle wind well at all. If you're really smooth, and like to put angles on your discs to do the work, the Anubis could be for you. If you like making the disc fix your mistakes, don't throw the Anubis.

    Fantastic all around mid!

This disc is a great mid range, I can see advanced and beginners loving it.

Great control, not too understable, but can be put on a line and you can expect it to follow that line the entire flight. After a break-in period this disc is your goto for anything in the woods where getting "off the fairway" is devastating.

I've been cycling this disc in an out of my bag with the chariot, I really can decide which I like more. It's harder to get the chariot on certain lines, I will likely end up with both in the bag because they just compliment each other.

For reference my bag for mids (OS to US) is:
Anvil/A2(cycling in and out); new sparkle verdict; seasoned lucid verdict, c-blend chariot, I-blend Anubis(Also dabbling with a seasoned M4)

Ideally, I would like to have the same molds for all my mids but all of these discs have a fairly similar feel in the hand (some are flat, some domey; rim profile is similar)

I didn't think there was a straighter disc than the Pure, at least not before I threw the Anubis. When thrown level, the Anubis will go flat the whole way. The rim feels good in my hand, though it is not for everybody. Others that have thrown my disc have reported not liking how sharp the bottom of the rim can feel in the hand, so depending on how the grip is can make that comfort level different.

One downfall to the Anubis is that it is easy to throw the disc a little hard and turn it over, and if that happens it will not come out of that line. That can be great once you learn how to utilize the lines the disc works on, but it can be frustrating trying to get used to the flight of the disc if it is being overpowered

The Anubis ia a point and shoot kind of mid range. Very straight to understable with power the Anubis will hold a turnover line very well.  When thrown flat with moderate power it will hold straight and have a slight finish at the end. The Anibus is very comfortable in the hand and can be used by any skill level. Overall its a straight flying midrange that any one can enjoy.

When I throw mine, it gets a bit of turn out of it and usually doesn't fade back.

Great hyzer-flip midrange. Excellent disc for new and experienced players alike.

Not a really flippy disc. It will ride any line on a hyzer, and makes a excellent roller overall this disc is definitely going to make my bag. And possibly become my go to mid! 4/5 stars

The anubis for me is slightly more overstable than the numbers suggest. I also live at elevation and this could be the factor. However the anubis can handle some power behind it and holds a long straight flight for a mid. I would compare it to a truth from dynamic discs. Great disc!

The Infinite Anubis is a straight flying midrange with very minimal fade. If you're looking for an understable compliment to the Chariot, the Anubis is a great place to start! The I-Blend plastic on the prototype is a little less grippy than that of the Sphinx, but still incredibly grippy (similar to S-Blend). The mold's profile is a rounded edge, with a fair amount of dome to the flight plate. It feels pretty good in the hand for backhands, but unlike the Chariot does not give you a consistent release with a forehand.

When release flat (for me) the disc flies incredibly straight, with late turn in the flight. It does not respond as well to a hyzer flip when compared to similar molds (The Discraft Meteor for example), however I anticipate this changing as the plastic beats in. Overall it'll be a great understable compliment to the Chariot, however was not as versatile for me personally.

    180g I-Blend

    5 5 -1 1

Feel: I really like the feel of the I-Blend. Great grip with decent flex. I threw the ANUBIS about a dozen times on various holes and after hitting a few trees there were only scrapes but no dings. This baseline plastic can take some solid hits.

Rim: I threw the D-blend alongside the I-Blend and the two molded differently. The I-Blend is deeper with more dome. This depth and dome served well for standstill finess BH shots but I have a tendency to grip-lock deep mids on a power-grip that I throw hard which was true with the ANUBIS.

    Speed: 5 speed midrange

Glide: the biggest surprise for the ANUBIS was it's easy glide. 75% BH shots and this disc just kept glidding STRAIGHT! There was no wind

Turn & Fade: The I-Blend ANUBIS held the line well. Again, I'm throwing it 75% or less and on a slight hyzer it held it and faded very little. Very straight. When thrown flat it would turn slightly and fade back center. On a slight annhyzer it would turn and fade at low speed.

Overall: I like the feel and flight. I don't have anything like it in my bag and I am gonna work it in. I parked a few holes with easy fitness shots and it earned a spot as a result.

I have been looking for this disc for a long time! A dead straight easy to hyzer flip mid that stays true to its line and doesn't quickly flip over and turn/burn to the right (for a RHBH). I am so pumped that Infinite made this disc as I believe this is the Mid I have been looking for. It feels great in the hand as I don't like deep dish or beaded mid ranges; this is a nice beadless not very deep mid range. The Mako3 was too deep a mid for me and seemed to finicky for the lines I was trying to throw, the Buzzz never felt comfortable in my hand and didn't flip as much as I would love to see, and the M4 (the disc in my bag before the Anubis) was just a touch too understable as it would drift to the right a bit to quickly for me. I will say I always have loved the feel of the Prodigy M4 and that is what the Anubis feels identical to but it has that touch extra of stability I always wished the M4 had. I will update if my opinion changes but for now thanks Infinite for making this fantastic mid!
