    D-Blend Details

D-Blend plastic is a basic, inexpensive plastic blend (compare to Innova DX plastic). It has good grip and medium softness. It is more easily beat-in when used than premium plastics, but is preferred by many players for putters and mid-range discs where grip is important.

I personally love this disc, but it is not what you think it is by the numbers. When released on a flat line it almost immediately turns out of hand. This disc can be thrown straight and flies quite far when released on a decent hyzer line. It also can hyzer but must be thrown at an extremely exaggerated hyzer line. Not for everyone

I find that the Anubis is a great disc to the Infinite disc's line up. I love this midrange disc. I find that midranges in general help all disc golfers in learning how to throw discs and also the ways to get distance. I recommend this disc for most beginners. Beginners in general should be able to throw any disc, so you will probably be able to throw this disc. This disc has a nice position in my bag. I use it for shaping shots and for doing very touchy upshots. I find that the more I use this disc, the more I learn special things about it. I find the this disc is a good disc for people who have played a lot of ultimate frisbee. It will probably be great for you. The design of this disc feels that it is a bit bigger than other discs so it may fit in your hand perfectly. I find that this disc is very versatile and I can throw 275-315 feet with this disc. I know that if I don’t put to much power and put it nice and high in the air, I will probably go the line which I want. I find that this disc is very straight so whenever I aim this disc I aim it straight at the basket and have like a 1-2 step runup before releases with control. This disc will bring control into your game. Disc golfers sometimes only aim to get the most amount of distance on their drivers but forget other important things such as getting control into their game. I find that I have gained a lot of control by using this disc. I also feel that this disc is perfectly fit into everyone's bag. From a beginner to a pro, this disc can fit into your bag as it just feels great in the hand. The rim of this disc is so nice holding as I know that I can do anything with it. Beginners should not go any further and higher speed then this disc. For those who are new to the sport, I think that this disc can just do well in your hand. I find that this plastic is quite good in most conditions, yet can give me a bit of trouble when I am at the course on a hotter day. It does then tend to be a bit gummy. Overall, this disc should be tried by everyone. It may not be for you, but I think that you will enjoy throwing it. It is great in my bag and I use it for most touchy upshots. Give it a try and maybe you will like it.

This disc is great and a major workhorse out of my bag.  It files true on any angle that you put it on.  Thrown flat it'll laser beam straight and float down to the ground.  It flies similar to a Mako3 but with a touch more glide, in my experience.

This disc is amazing! It is pretty similar, in flight, to an Innova Skeeter though it is a wider diameter. This disc flies sooo slooooowww but has great glide. It can ride 250ft or so on a hyzer flip but will get there slower than any disc you have seen. This is a fun and versatile disc that can hold many angles bc it is so neutral. This is also a great beginner disc or one that can be used in a 1 disc only type of round. For more stability and lomnger flight, check it out in a more premium plastic like I or C Blend.

My review is primarily on the C-blend Anubis... The Anubis holds a very true line. It is one of those discs that will show you your flaws in your form. When you're able to dial it in, you could do almost anything with this disc. I highly recommend it for beginners and professionals alike.

Straight! That's the name of the game for Anubis. From 200+ out... dead straight. I was somewhat skeptical at the numbers at first, but nope. Holds any line you put it on when needed. Played the Anubis on a pretty technical woods course. This one is bagged! Thanks Infinite Discs!

Recently purchased a D blend version of this disc and was blown away at how straight it flies with minimal power. I took a Discraft Buzzz out for a few rounds to try out some other discs and was impressed with how far it would fly and how straight it would go on longer approaches. Time will tell how it beats in, but I would love to try this disc in some other plastics.

This disc rocks! It holds whatever line i put it on and is now a go to. It complements the RA perfectly so if your looking for a sweet 1 2 punch look no further.

TLDR the Anubis is the most comfortable mid I've held and flies very straight or turnover lines depending on the plastic.

I have both a D Blend And I Blend. From a RHBH  flat release the D blend flew with a slight turn to the right about 300' when brand new. As it has broken in it now turns pretty significantly from a flat release, so I usually throw it from slight hyzer on turnover lines or steeper hyzer to flat.  My I blend is fairly fresh and is pretty much dead straight.  The hand feel is great on this disc.

I'm hoping to pick up a C blend whenever they show up back in stock to see if I can get a tiny fade from this awesome mold.  The closest similar discs I have thrown are the Innova Mako3 and the Westside Warship. This disc is straighter than both (Warship has more fade, Mako3 more turn) and for my arm the Anubis shorter than the Warship and longer than the Mako3.   This mid would be great for a new player as their first mid, and then as a reliable straight to turnover disc for more advanced players.

I LOVE this disc, it is straightest as possible, any time I have a tiny window and need glide, this is it. And in C-blend, I'm getting used to, a bit more overstable... Have not tried I-blend.... But D-blend, you cant have a more straight disc.

Bought this disc in D-blend looking for a good mid-range for tunnel shots.  Haven't used it much because it's just uncomfortable in my hand.  The lid is domey, the rim is small and the plastic is slippery unless wet.  I only put it in the bag in wet conditions.

I tested out the D blend for a bit and can say this disc has talent.

Very nice glide and consistent speed for a beginner like myself.

My first throw with this disc I smashed a 200ft ace. It flights incredibly straight with very little fade at the end. I'm loving it so far for obvious reasons.

The Anubis has quickly become my new go to mid! It feels pretty close to the Innova Coyote, with no bead and a slight dome. In the hand it feels great, and the D-Blend is still slick enough to have a clean driving release. I also really like the I-Blend plastic of this disc.

The Anubis flies so straight! Well, really it holds any line you put it on. Just don't throw too hard or it'll flip. Keep a nice touch on it and it'll hold the line. If I put a little extra steam on it, I release with a Hyzer, and it'll pop up and go straight for about 300 feet.

This is a super good approach mid for me because it's so trustworthy.

As has been said by other reviewers here, the Anubis is a point-and-shoot mid-range disc. It is easy to throw, easy to control, and follows whatever path you release it on with your wrist angle. If you throw it with too much power, it will flip over on you, but this is a mid-range, so it is not meant to be thrown at maximum power.  It is extremely precise within a couple hundred feet. I like throwing the D-Blend as it feels quite a bit like a grippy approach / putter crossover disc that gives me a good run at the basket from a hundred feet out. It's a lot of fun to throw and really goes back to the basics of disc golf-- working the angle of release and the right touch.

This is a perfect disc for beginners, and in lighter weights would be great for children as well. It is not a high speed disc and it does not exaggerate any particular turn or fade. Of course, new players will want to add other discs to their arsenal, but the Anubis would give them a great way to get started.

I've been waiting for this disc to drop, still waiting on the I-blend. That being said it is exactly what I was hoping for. Anubis does what you make it do, it will help work on your form, watch your angles, and try new things with the disc without being TOO worried about losing it. This disc definitely has the potential to be an all around go to. Highly recommend it.
