The MOAB (Mother of All Bombs) is a retooled 4.1 Tachyon, produced to be extremely flat. The MOAB is a 6 speed, large diameter fairway driver, which is massively overstable. The MOAB will fight through head winds like a champion, resisting turn for even the most powerful players. The MOAB is suitable for both sidearm and backhand players and is a disc you can always trust to fade hard.

    NOT recommended for new players.
My MOAb is the oldest disc in my bag. I have a majority of my field aces with this disc. The perfect utility disc. You wont use a MOAb for max distance. But you can use it for basically anything else.  Everybody should have a trusty, reliable, ultra overstable disc in their bag.
The MOAb is so unique. It is a large diameter, MAX(180) weight 6 speed fairway driver, that is very overstable. I mainly use mine for sidearm shots from 150-250 ft. I use to use a flat top ring of gators for this spot in my bag till the gator didnt work anymore. I needed something i could crank on and know it will come back. every time. No matter the wind.
Oh no! stuck in a precarious spot with little to nothing?! MOAb for the forehand roller escape shot! tiny window to hit a 100ft. tomahawk to get on the green...no problem. MOAb will do work. A 200ft. water carry that has to hit and stick in the fresh cut grass? Thats right. MOAb will stick the landing.
Now it will take some time to decphier the flight of a MOAb, but once you do, you will be happy you did.
Shame these are currently OOP. 8(
Hopefully Millennium/Hyzerbomb/innova will produce some more. In the meantime, i am glad I have the few i do. Because these are somewhat hard to come by. If you are lucky enough to stumble upon one, pay whatever the seller is asking. You cant put a price on the amount of storkes this disc should save you.

This is such a strange disc. I threw a whippet for that thumber/overhand utility disc and thought that was the most beefy fairway on the market...LIES. Enter the MOAB, and my word was turned upside down. Literally. This is ALMOST like Tilt levels of overstable. Unlike the Tilt, however, this disc at least can cover some distance when thrown in the air. I love it, but most people won't love the feel of this in the hand at all.

This should ONLY be a utility disc. If you use a hyzerbomb disc for anything other than utility drives, props to you.

    LOOK OUT!

I pride myself on my disc knowledge...as such, I know that the MOAB is actually a Millenium Tachyon in Champion plastic. The Tachyon is a modified Viper. If you recoginize those names, you'll know that the MOAB is one crazy overstable disc. It lives up to the hype; it has the rim size of a fairway driver, but if you can get this within even ten feet of your normal mid-range discs, my hats off to you. This thing is insane.

But it is not a brick. Many massively overstable discs lack speed and glide, but the MOAB does not. It comes out of the hand quick, and does have good carry when it gets a little air under it. That said, the MOAB started hooking up basically right out of my hand. I can juice a drive for sure, I'm no noodle arm, but the MOAB started it's fade instantly. Unless you really break this disc in (which is tough, because Recon plastic takes a beating) you won't be holding any big, sweeping hyzers with the MOAB. Instead, spike hyzers, overhands and power forehands are the MOAB's forte. I'm not very confident in my power forehands, but the MOAB could take all my wonky torque and still fade.

The MOAB is a great utility disc. I already bag a Firebird, Reptilian Disc Golf Raptor, and a Buzzz OS so I really have no need to add the MOAB at this time. But it is still a fantastic massively overstable disc.

This is a the most overstable disc I have ever thrown.  The Moab is 100% a utility disc for me. This disc is a beast in the Kansas winds. The Moab is technically a Fairway driver but flys more like a midrange for me because how stable it is.

I was excited to try the MOAB (like all other overstable discs) and it certainly did not disappoint! I believe this disc is listed/stamped as a control driver, which I think is a little misleading. This disc looks like a mid, feels like a mid, and flies like a mid.

The MOAB performs like many of its counterparts: Dynamic Disc Justice, Innova flat-topped Jolly Launcher Gator, Prodigy A1 etc. I would say the MOAB is every so slightly less stable than most of these, but fills the same slot.

I generally use this type of disc for big (spike) hyzers, throws into nasty wind, or when I just want to throw a disc I know will do the same thing every time. This type of disc can be extremely fun, and important too... but mostly fun. The MOAB is a dependable disc that will do the same thing every time. If you are looking for a good overstable mid (potentially mid/control hybrid) then definitely get your hands on a MOAB!

Super fun and beefy disc!  It throws similar to my Justice, but a bit faster.  It does stretch it's flight a little longer than my Justice, perhaps since it has a higher speed and glide.  It is listed as a fairway driver, but feels a bit like a mid-fairway hybrid.  It is very reliable and I'd highly recommend it to anyone looking for a nice meathook disc.

I have one word for this disc--meathook!!! This disc is a very unique disc golf disc. I was surprised to see it listed as a control driver, because the rim feels more like a midrange. But on closer inspection, it is like a beaded midrange mixed with a grooved rim. That may sound weird at first, but it actually fits very well in my hand. I threw a max weight, 180g, one, and it is incredible how overstable this disc is. The only way I can think to describe it is as a slightly faster DD Justice. I had fun with it, and I actually parked a 260 foot hole with it, but I don't think it would be possible for me to throw it any farther than that. I'm not sure if this disc will find a home in my bag, but I look forward to trying it out some more. It is a utility disc, and I think a lot of golfers will enjoy seeing the lines they can make with it. Definitely not for a beginner though!
