The MOAB (Mother of All Bombs) is a retooled 4.1 Tachyon, produced to be extremely flat. The MOAB is a 6 speed, large diameter fairway driver, which is massively overstable. The MOAB will fight through head winds like a champion, resisting turn for even the most powerful players. The MOAB is suitable for both sidearm and backhand players and is a disc you can always trust to fade hard.

Don't give out 5 star ratings lightly.  This is not an everyday throwing disk but it is a great utility disc when you need it. Gets around corners like you would not believe and helps you get up out of tight spots. Don't use it every round, but glad to have it when i reach for it. Very little glide or it would be perfect.

I've been playing for 8 months now and this is a disc I consistently go-to for almost everything. You can throw the Recon with confidence in any weather. I absolutely love this thing and wish I had 5 more just like it! I've even used it for forehand flicks on 50-100ft approach's around tree's and love the way it comes in and just STICKS with no roll away.

I bought the Moab primarily to replace my very beat up Innova Viper with a premium plastic alternative. The Moab has definitely performed as I had hoped, giving consistent fade and taking any power I put on it. I use the Moab for many of my utility shots and when I need a predictable finish for a throw. I am a fan of overstable discs and I would recommend the Moab for other disc golfers who are looking for a reliable and super overstable fairway driver.

My recon Moab was a versatile utility disc capable of all sorts of lines and recovery shots.  It has massive fade from the instant it leaves your grip.  You can flex it at an extreme angle for a relatively straight final landing point with an extreme S  flex flight path to cut around multiple obstacles.

For approach shots around large obstacles or for getting out of the woods, the Moab is without peer.  You can throw as much as 30-45 degrees off line and trust the massive fade to bring the Moab back to land close to the basket.

The Moab is also a terrific wind fighter for approach shots.   It doesn't just scoff at wind, it completely ignores it.  I have never seen this disc go offline line even in the most extreme wind bursts encountered in the San Francisco Bay area, most notably at the Benicia course.

After moving to an all trilogy plastic I use the Stiletto for lower speed shot requiring the same fade as the MOAB.  I also bag the Ahti which will not fade as aggressively as the MOAB.

The Moab is an amazing utility/wind disc. This disc can not be turned over. I use the Moab for a wide variety of shots and it will never leave my bag. The thing I love the most about the Moab is it's forehand potential. I can crank into it like a high speed driver and it comes out clean with absolutely no flutter. Also because of it's radical over stability and fade, it really doesn't fade. When it slows down it just dumps and usually has very little ground play. I love this disc!

I was very excited to give the MOAB a try, as I really enjoy throwing the VIper. The Moab has a very similar feel to the Viper in hand, but with a much flatter top. I thought the flight would be somewhat similar, but this would not be the case. The Moab was much more stable than even the Champ Vipers I have thrown. This thing got left right out of the hand. One thing that I liked about the Moab was the short flex shots I was able to get out of it. This could be a great disc on shorter courses/shots that require some creativity and odd angles. The Moab is a fun disc, but I will stick with my more workable Vipers.
