The Slayer is a fairly stable-flying, high-speed distance driver. It has a thick rim and will sail well over 400 feet for powerful disc golfers. This disc will turn, but is stable enough that it rarely flips over. The Gateway Slayer is available in ultra durable Evolution plastic, as well as the affordable Sure Grip plastic blend. This high-speed driver can be purchased in lighter weights, providing easier distance for newer players.

The Slayer is a great stable distance driver. Throwing it into a headwind will cause it to turn way more than expected so don't expect it to be a super straight flier on a windy day.

The Slayer is a great disc to throw on a hilly course as it hits it spot, may skip the slightest bit and then sit. I've never had this disc roll on me after a long drive.

I throw plenty of Gateway discs and this is by far my favorite of their distance drivers

Need an arm for this guy.  I don't have it yet. Knifes into the ground almost immediately. Very over stable and very fast. I hope to someday be able to throw it for some distance as it feels like a very long flying disc. I got it for the name

I like Slayers now but I didn't at first. This mold has a little less high speed stability than my other high speed over-stable drivers, yet it has a very strong fade. To get good distance, I discovered that I need to throw them a little higher off the ground to get a full flex flight. Now I'd say these are some of my farthest flying high speed over-stable drivers. When I get dialed into one it performs excellent. However, so far, I don't feel comfortable using one in a tournament. They are different and it takes a little while for me to adjust to them. I throw a lot of side arms... they may be great for big arm backhanders who want a little turn and dependable fade.

I really liked throwing the Slayer from Gateway discs. It was actually a pretty stable disc with a flight similar to my Z Crank. It can handle some power without fear of flipping, but it can be worked on a variety of lines. I really got some nice distance out of the Slayer while still feeling very in control of its accuracy. The plastic was a little slick, but very durable.
