The Journey is another of Gateway's long range driver.

The Journey has a low profile and long wing for speed, and a perfect transition from the nose to the flight plate allowing it to have a long straight controllable flight with just the right amount of overstability. It has enough resistance to turn for the big arms, but it's not too overstable for the slower arms and newer players. Players of all skill level should be able to make the Gateway Journey one of the longest throwing discs in their bag.

Evolution Platinum is a fantastic ultra premium plastic blend by Gateway. The plastic offers a unique metallic shine that not only looks good, but it is also incredibly grippy and flexible (you can literally fold a Evo-P disc). This plastic blend is especially recommended for playing disc golf when it's cold outside.

I really liked the Journey from Gateway. This is a very straight flying distance driver from Gateway, that really likes to hold the line you put it on. Powered down, or for players with less power, this is going to be a stable flyer. I see this as a great step into the distance drivers for players looking for more distance.

The Journey is a fantastic disc and I find myself reaching for it as a sort of 'long River'.  It has a somewhat unique combination of flight characteristics -- high speed, high glide, but low fade and only a little turn.  It does need a little bit of space to S-turn to maximum distance, but not as much as a Tern/Shryke; and with a little bit of hyzer you are looking at a nice long, low, straight shot.  At least on all the courses near me, that kind of shot is great on at least 1/3 to 1/2 of the holes (if not more).

Great driving disc for wide open holes. Was very skeptical of the disc when I first got one but after a couple of practice throws its become one of my favorite and most trustworthy discs to throw. Pretty easy for a newer player to power grip this disc and give it a ride. I have 2 Journey's that I currently bag (1 regular Diamond plastic journey. Very nice pop top dome to it. love to release on a little hyzer and have it flip up.) and 1 signature series Jeff Ash dye'd Journey. If you're on the fence about this disc trust me you will not be disappointed. Give it some power and it will give you a nice small S line flex before straightening out and finishing a little left.
