The Assassin is a controllable distance driver that offers a fairly neutral flight path combined with excellent glide, making it perfect for straight fairway drives or powering up for a long turnover drive. Its smooth, moderate dome and semi-wide wing make it comfortable in the hand. If you like the Sabre but want something easier to really wing out there, the Assassin is your disc. You will find it to be surprisingly stable even in lighter weights.

This is a fantastic and very easy to control driver. I don't generally throw anything faster than a 9 speed, and this thing is the furthest disc in my bag. A stiff headwind is not its friend, but its not unmanageable in the wind. Overall very dependable for that late gentle fade. More stable than the numbers say, if you're looking for more turn go with the spear. This is my go to for most tee shots over 275'

I have owned a few Assassins and liked them all.

However I'm in love with my newest assassin. It's an Evolution Diamond, and it's very stable. Flies similar to a new champion teebird. Feels great in my hand, and have great glide. When I throw it on an anny line, it'll fight out and hyzer for great flex shots. Also good for stretching out those last few feet. Holds a hyzer line from hand to ground perfectly.

This fills a gaping hole in my bag of a reliable fairway driver. Such a workhorse disc. When I pull this disc out, I know I've got a shot at the birdie.

Great thing about Gateway discs is how many different plastics they use and how many different flight patterns you can get from the exact same mold. So if you find a mold you like, try as many different plastics as you can.
