The Era is the first disc in Drew Gibson's Finish Line. This disc is designed to be the all-purpose control driver for players of all skill levels.

With a flat top and neutral flight path the Era works well for both backhand and forehand throws. It is understable enough to work for newer players, but has enough stability that it can handle the power of Drew Gibson. The Era has enough speed and glide to go as far as many distance drivers, but has minimal fade for the straight flight of a fairway.

Finish Line Discs are designed and manufactured in the USA.

    Forged X-Out Details

Forged is Finish Line's Champion-Grade Disc Golf Plastic. Finish Line's Forged Plastic combines a number of premium polymers to forge a plastic with next-level durability, consistency, and beauty, designed to withstand the most extreme levels of use.

Forged blend plastic is an optimal choice for every player. The Forged X-Out represents discs that have factory second blemishes and are considered imperfect, thus they are sold at a discount. They should still fly great, but may have wrinkles or small divots in the rim or other minor flaws. Save big and try something new with Finish Line Factory Seconds.

Feel - Very grippy, but not too grippy, just enough to get maximum spin on the disc without missing your line. Rim is comfortable enough not to complain about. The disc is not stiff, there a little bit of flexibility to it.

Flight - It flies as fast as a 12 speed. This thing zooms out of the hand. It is definitely noticeable. There is a little bit of turn at the begging of the flight, and just enough stability to fade at the end. This is not one of those discs that will start turning and not come back, It will come back at the end. If I start it on a little bit of hyzer, it will flip up to flat and go straight for the vast majority of the flight and then fade at the end.

Use – I will use this disc when I need to hit tight gaps and go 350+ of distance. It will primary be a wooded course disc. The disc I have been using for my long straight shots in the woods up to this point has been a beat up Champion Valkyrie. I have always been very nervous that if I lost my Valkyrie, then I would not have a disc that I can buy off the shelf that can replace it. My Valkyrie will go about 330 to 350 on a straight line. This disc will go about 350 to 370 for me on a straight line with a slightly stronger fade than my Valkyrie has. Now I use this disc for holes that require a long straight shot but the safer miss is to the left. I use my Valkyrie for the holes that have a long straight shot and the safer miss is to the right.

I feel good to know that I can buy this disc off the shelf and have a highly functioning woods disc right away.

This is my go to for big distance shots.  A little flippier than i thought it would be but on a slight hyzer, it flips over a bit and doesn't fight out super hard for big carries.  On a steeper hyzer angle i can get a nice pushing hyzer.  I only use this for backhands as of now.

PS - Anyone who's interested  - i bought two of the x-outs in white to dye and the plastic takes the dye super well

My God. I wasn't expecting it to have that much glide. It seriously flies like a longer Escape.

Mine was an Factory 2nd, and the small defect seems to not effect the flight, in the slightest. Will be buying many more.
